And before I get shot down in flames I only pose that question because to me a legend doesn't necessarily have to be someone who achieves everything but more so someone who inspires others to achieve.

Judging by Farah's recent presser it makes sense that the article posted before was conducted a while ago, maybe even last year. The attitude difference between the presser and that article is vast.
Wouldn't surprise me that a journo may sit on that interview until now as when it was conducted Robbie was talking like this constantly and it wouldn't have been headline news so to speak. Release it a couple of months later and viola!
You accuse someone who proved you wrong earlier of ''having way too much time on their hands"
Then you come up with this pearler.
Loosen that foil hat a bit
 how many more times you going to comment on this? I know you love the drama so fire away.

That is my gut feeling on it.
Farah's official press conference was along way away from what was said in this article.
@Eddie said:I said as such that those comments in the article (buried away in the middle of the thread) are along way from what he said in the press conference. I said he doesn't need to take pot shots even if he is right. I ackknowledged that, and i said that article could have been done earlier in the year (which could be right or wrong)
From the press conference my gut feeling is that he is focused on football and winning. It was an 8 minute interview done live from training on Tuesday.
I don' t think he is perfect, but I find it pathetic the fans just waiting to pounce on him at any opportunity. Any word they don;t like. Any press he does (or any press he doesnt do in Potters case) Can't wait till he grubbers one dead this year or throws a loose pass.

Hilarious.
Day 1\. He said nothing wrong
Day 2 . I didn't read the whole thread so i may have missed what he said.
Day 3 . He probably said it last year.
Brilliant.

Side note: Lawrence-itis did catch on (he is one of the most maligned players on here and for good reason), it is just not the topic of this thread.
Now, back to the needless Farah bashing…...

Maybe he should have just said 'It was a dream, nothing really happened. The boys are training harder than ever before and are are 110% committed to making the finals this year… :blah '

There might be a few members displaying gymnastic ability by the end of this year. Lawrence has been sent out again and again when 1/2 fit. Coaches need to take a lot of the blame from Sheens trying to turn him into a 5/8 and potter keeping him in the centres when he should have been converted into a backrower years ago. He can only do the job he is asked to do and I will give Taylor a big tick for realising that his best position for the team is in the backrow.
