Gallagher,

Are you forgetting that Robbie asked for a release in the end and we couldnt afford to pay him out in full

??

No. But he'd could have forced farahs hand. If Farah truly believed he was bound for reserve grade he would have left.
But he did nothing. Patted them on the head like bad boys and told them to play nicely together. He's on massive dollars to sort this stuff out.
Tell me you didn't see this day coming Eddie.

For those that are arguing it would be irresponsible to pay another coach out…

It would have been twice as irresponsible to pay 2 mill out to Farah and say goodbye....

Some decide to contradict themselves here.

Thats all i am saying.

The whole thing has been bungled from the start and now Farahs recent comments and Taylor pathetic selection today and press conference have bought it back to the surface.

I think most WT fans would be happy if they both go.

I'd be over the moon !

Agreed Eddie. Very poor from Taylor once Ballin pulled out.
I just think Pascoe took the easy option that was never gonna work out.

WESTS Tigers coach Jason Taylor has thrown another tin of petrol on his simmering feud with Robbie Farah.

In the wake of the his side’s 32-18 loss to the Roosters, Taylor was more than happy to hand over his support for James Tedesco to be elevated into the NSW State of Origin team after his return from injury.

But Taylor also refused to confirm if the NSW incumbent hooker would be rushed back into the Tigers’ starting team for Friday night’s clash with South Sydney.

On a wet and wild afternoon at Allianz Stadium, Taylor had four chances to shut down the conversation about Farah’s immediate future in a bizarre post match media conference but instead he intentionally chose to leave the debate open.

Why Jason?

Maybe he wants to bring things to a head.

Maybe the club has finally got the cash to pay Farah out ?

You have to wonder if buckets has given the green light to force farahs hand.
One game in state cup and he'll walk after origin

If Ballin's knee is still sussy then Farah should be staying. He plays consistently well, whereas Taylor's job results are difficult to quantify in such a manner but at face value look shocking.

I am still for making Farah captain/coach on the same salary if would accept until end 2017, that is if Taylor can find another job somewhere to lessen his payout burden. The coaching money saved goes towards a good forward. Farah gives back to the club and maybe the club becomes unified. Farah's great pride is on the line in new job as coach. Surely he knows what the game is about by now. Going on what Woods stated on the TV show the other night Farah is well respected in the team.

We will soon see.

Taylors behaviour seems to indicate a mid season trade might be being discussed.

He had 4 chances to shut things down in the press conference.

My question is why didnt he like earlier in the year??

Something has changed?

Otherwise its just totally self inflicted turmoil Taylor is bringing the club for the rest of the season.

Its always been said he had support at board level. Maybe that's changed. Maybe buckets isn't s fan either.
Our season is gone anyway. Best to sort this out asap.

Either way in my opinion both Farah and Taylor have bought the club into disrepute thepast 2 weeks

Farah with his inflammatory comments 2 weeks ago. He should have just been a clubman and said no comment.

And Taylor for refusing to pick the best team today and re igniting the press's desire to get the fued going again.

Taylor could have shut things down by playing Farah today or by saying he will be back next week. For whatever reason he choose to do niether.

Both childish. If we were a rich club these guys would be dismissed.

Oneill cant be impressed.

I just watched the press conference. I don't think Taylor said much wrong there.

He won't walk without his money and nor should he. However if they have the dosh then he just may.

You reckon he'd play away in reserves while super league clubs are wanting him? I'm not so sure

I'm calling for Mark O'Neill's head. Didn't some of you carry on about how we have only been winning since the team selections were taken away from Coach Taylor?

Oh, so now we lose, it's back to Taylors fault?

Regardless of who selected the team, Farah would not have made a scrap of difference today!

We'll never know if Robbie would've made a difference or not.
JT never gave him a chance to show us. 😕
What a foolish coach. Leaving your best hooker out of the team. :crazy

So, Ballin has knee problems - well, surprise surprise.

Robbie is the best hooker in NSW and easily the best at WT. Resting him was crazy, it was a cheap power play by the Coach.

I really don't blame Taylor after the comments Robbie made that week.

The coach has lost enough face having to apologise to the guy. No wonder the players don't want to play for him.
