Farah/Taylor Thread...

Your solution has holes in . So a whole pre season of bad press costing us memberships.

You say it would drop off after 2 or 3 rounds??

What happens if it doesnt and he stays and plays Origin from reserves.

Would have cost the club even more memberships and had even more bad press through out the year.

Would you walk away from 900 if you didnt have any options?

Im not convinced.

Are you convinced doing nothing has worked?
And if you would base your decisions on memberships or bad press then you'd be an awful manager.
You're just as short sighted as the muppets that have been running the club for years.
I look forward to Taylor and Farah being with us next year.

Looks like the big victim has been speaking to his old mate Weidler again. Poor Wobbie is being bullied because Mattys show only ever lampoons him. :roll

Unhappy hooker
The fallout from the Gorden Tallis–Robbie Farah-Mick Potter situation two years ago is ongoing. And **Farah has been the big victim out of the saga**. Tallis and Farah were on good terms – good enough to have nights out and a drink until Tallis took a private conversation and made it public. It made a delicate situation at the Tigers even more difficult to manage and it made Farah look like a coach killer, something he doesn't deserve to be labelled.
The fallout for Farah is that he has been targeted by parts of the media, specifically the Monday Night with Matty Johns show, where Tallis is a regular.
Tallis doesn't take the shots – he sits there with a contented look on his face. Instead Farah is lampooned by the comedy writers and his character is brought into question.
Farah also cops it on radio Triple M, another employer of Tallis and Johns, and Farah refuses to appear on either program.
Farah tries to ignore the personal shots, but plenty of people tell him about them. It's known that Farah considers it bullying and there is a line of thinking that **if it continues there will be legal action**. Farah is arguably the Tigers' greatest hooker and is a star at Origin level.
He deserves considerably more respect than he is being afforded at the moment. When approached for a comment, **Farah did not want to say anything about the issue**. But it's clear he is angry about the matter.

What are you on about?

I said I don't want either at the club next year IDEALLY.

However its not that simple.

I think they have been working on something for a while.

The ESL deal to Leeds would be good.

Hopefully thy can work something out. But this has been complicated from the minute Taylor and the Board acted mid last year.

Farah strikes me as the kind of guy who'd probably end a friendship if one of his mates made a joke about him. Get a sense of humour about yourself Robbie, you'll live longer.

Oh, so it IS possible for us to move players on like every other club. But not last year?

Lol. What tripe. He's the one who brought all this into the media and still swipes at Taylor in the papers.

He never appologised to potter or made any real amends.

He deserves everything he gets.

Gallagher,

Are you forgetting that Robbie asked for a release in the end and we couldnt afford to pay him out in full

Exactly. If I was Robbie I would say pay me out for this and next year in full, and i'll leave after origin

I wonder if Tallis ever apologised to Mick Potter for derailing our season ?
What Tallis did was the lowest of the low and he continues to abuse his position to parade his own
agenda. Honest Gordy should check his facts before he opens his big mouth.

'Legal Action' is a clear indicator you have lost the battle :bawling :bawling :bawling

This bloke has systematically attempted to exercise control over the Wests Tigers since 2009.

I stated this at the start of the perceived Farah vs Taylor battle last year - Only the Best Coaches are allowed to make the decision to move on the Robbie Farah's of a football club.

This decision was made way above our Coach, and it now appears the new GM of Football is on the same page by encouraging the 'farah doesnt suit the team' line. Who gave him this mantra?

Pascoe speaks for the board… He needs to stand up and be the leader he is being paid to be, and finalise this drama. It was never going to be settled and we have a little more pain to go through!

:sign:

Tallis is pretty low.

They run all the Anti Farah stuff on Matty Johns ad nauseaum and he just sits back letting Hindy, Flecth and Matty doing all the bagging.

Coward.

I heard a rumour WA are prepared to pay out his contract if the NRL are prepared to not include it into next years cap?

Where does Robbie find the time to do these interviews for the uk rag about Jarryd Hayne?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/rugbyleague/article-3595992/NRL-star-Robbie-Farah-claims-old-friend-Jarryd-Hayne-not-cope-intensive-rugby-sevens-fitness-training.html

It seems he cant keep out of the media. A fame monster.

Have to agree, Robbie just cant let things go, yet again he is derailing this club.. Its time for him to go. Sooner or later everyones time is up, it just happens. You just got to take it on the chin and move on. I know he wants to emulate his boyhood hero Stevie Gerrad (liverpool) as a one club man, but what he is doing is ruining his legacy. I will always remember farah in his day as the best hooker in the game and he and Benji gave us our first premership. I know he loves this club and he always says he bleeds black and gold . The events that are taking place both private and im sure private are not in the best interest for club or himself.

What he is doing now is ruining that memory (2005) for me, and now i will remember the last 3 years of feuds and bitter bickering with the coach, management and certain team mates.. its time to go. i hear that fat lady singing…

Can't believe he wasn't selected yesterday he may have got us home.
Service out of dummy half and kicking game was the loser for us while a loyal clubman who was one of the best for NSW watches on.
He even needs captaincy again we are copping high shots every week have zero influence over referees.
Feel sorry for Ballin and wish Ballin all the best but the reality is his money could have retained Marty and his toughness we surety miss.

We already had a state of origin hooker.

Marty is on fire at Manly. If we had got stuck paying him 600k we would be screaming now. The offences he gets a 1 week suspension for at manly would have been worth at least a month in a tigers jersey

Well both Farah and Sirro know what happens when you talk about JT , you get dropped. It's the only times players are made accountable.I think it's time for the 2 of them to grow up or leave( JT and Farah) , in actual fact I think it's to late to give them that choice it's time to go boys.

I maybe wrong but I can't recall Robbie saying much about his tiff with JT before this, it may have been secretly to journos or his manager manipulating things. I am glad to read it once from his own mouth out in the open. Surely he deserves that while he is still Flavour of the Month. His job is to put effort into the game that he never fails on, whereas JT's job is to put the best players on the field, this he has failed at.
