Post the link where JT has refuted this? It is not that difficult.

Yes because clubs are in the habit of denying every bit of rubbish published in papers. As I said, you've lost all objectivity on this topic.

The proof is in the pudding. The team put in a great performance. As Gould said, a divided team doesn't play like that.

I will take Gould's views over your bile.

I think he missed Pascoe's press release saying that unless he or Go are quoted, not to believe anything.

I don't believe that we are a divided club but I also believe that JT stuffed up managing Robbie and it has had a big impact on pushing us towards being a more divided club. I listened to Brooks, Moses and Tedesco talk after the game and they all mentioned Robbie's game and how he lifted them or helped them.

So I think that the situation is nowhere near what some people in the media and on this forum want to make out when it comes to the Robbie is the devil or Robbie is leaking everything to the media crap.

There is an issue now though and JT made that issue when he shouldn't have.

I'd like to see JT just pick the best possible team week in and week out and treat Robbie with the same respect that he would treat one of our top players. If he does this and we win games this should hopefully go away.

At the same time if we don't make the 8 I think we should sack Taylor and we should definitely not resign Robbie. If we make the 8 and do well next year then we could consider resigning JT especially beacuse Robbie will hopefully have left the club by that point.

Rubbish Steve. What has JT done that isn't treating Robbie with respect? By telling him he wanted to look at a new direction? So honesty is a lack of respect is it? Or was it not selecting him in the starting side? A tactic that got us to a 10-0 lead? As Gould has said, its the coaches prerogative to choose his side. If Robbie or any other player can't handle that, they should GTFO of the club.

Farah restarted this by again white anting Taylor in the Herald two weeks ago. JT has done nothing wrong. That doesn't mean he is the right coach. But as soon as we let Farah's behaviour run the club, we are gone.

So Gus does know…. that's a first for a while.

I can't stand Gould as a commentator but there is no doubt he has one of the best football brains in the business. I don't agree with everything Gould says, particularly when it comes to macro issues such as salary cap limits, but on things like this I do.

I think that this is way too one sided. Is Robbie really white-anting JT ? I don't see it. He did say more than one stupid thing to the media again but how many times has Taylor done the same thing.

Who says Robbie can't handle being on the bench for the first 20 minutes ?

As for JT not treating Robbie with respect. He has handled this whole thing terribly. Robbie is massively overpaid but that is the way it is and probably due to Robbie taking less money at another time. He should have realized that Robbie was the best hooker at the club (which is definitely true unless his judgement is faulty) and then worked with him rather than try and get rid of him. He could have also said to Robbie - "listen mate I just don't see you being worth what you are being paid and if you can get more elsewhere let me know because we won't be resigning you at the end of 2017".

There has been way too much drama over this situation. Taylor handled it poorly. I'm not sure if Robbie has done anything really bad apart from that stupid article last week.

I also am far from a Robbie fan. I think Benji was a much better player than Robbie and handled himself with a lot more class.

The next person that makes an offensive post in this thread will go on mod preview and the thread will be locked.

Especially when the back up is injured, the third hooker is oddly not considered and the other alternatives are back rowers playing out of position

Why didn't Taylor make this call when announcing the squad on Tuesday? That's the weirdest part of this whole issue.

No weirder than any other coach who names his team on Tuesday and makes changes on game day. It's a common practice used by every coach in the game. There's nothing weird about it.

In fact he said in the "coaching insider" on Thursday that the selected side would not be the run on side and that he wouldn't reveal the changes until an hour before the game. Most coaches do this, so I don't think see anything weird in it at all.

There are quite a few Weststigers stories in this weeks RLW, one on Rowdy and how he asked the coaches last year to move him into the backrow, one on Liddle, one on the big 4 and JT, one on ET and Blocker covers a fair bit of the Farah verse JT stuff.
Also mentions that it was the assistant coaches instructions that got us the try from the kick off, I assume they are talking about Saundercock and not Kidwell.

Kangaroos coach Big Mal backs JT… Hmmm

Would have carried some weight if he wasnt in cameron smiths back pocket

What's Gus' excuse?

The Panthers were the first in line for Farahs services during the JT episode re Farah.
The fans chanting Robbie.. can the 99% in attendance be that wrong?

That's news to me. Are you saying Gus is favouring JT over Farah in the hope Farah leaves and goes to the Panthers? If Gus wanted him, he would be talking up Farah rather than JT. You're saying he should do the opposite?

What's that have to do with Gus?
