Farah to SOUTH SYDNEY in 2017..OFFICIAL..

If Farah sues that is the end of his legacy. The end of his decade+ of great tigers service. The club is greater. Robbie if u do this u deserve nothing. Move on mate. Keep what little dignity you have left.

Look..the Club wants to go in a different direction and Farah is not part of it…simple...He can stay if he wants fine...

The same will happen to Brett Stewart next year when Trbojevic will be the No. 1 for Manly...

I am not surprised by this. If the club want Farah out so bad pay him out and let him go. Clearly they don't want to absorb the full worth of his contract - understandable- but if no other club is offering what they want and they refuse to release him, and or select Farah in FG regardless of form - then they are restricting Farahs ability to play for anyone else in the top tier competition.
Whether you like him or not he is a first grade player and is in our top seventeen - so why is he not being selected?
I mentioned this a while ago and got shouted down - he is clearly being treated differently.
Had a feeling something was brewing.

The club have said if he stays he'll be paid, so I can't see where any legal action can be taken.
Sure… There's moral and ethical issues here... Don't think this applys to litigation

There is no positive in the club playing Farah in reserves if they can't/won't offload him somewhere else. It will only cause more unrest and is a bad look.
If they plan to use him in FG fine but that doesn't look like the case. Just feel it's time to end it.

Agree

This has been going on for 5 yrs now. I hope he goes so we can all move on.. Club legend or not he has tarnished his brand.. **_I think its quite clear Moses and brooks don't want him at the club._**. these two boys have killed it since Robbie has been dropped. For the sake of everyone i hope its all settled ASAP but im sure in tomorrows paper there will be another rubbish story about how poorly managed the tigers are and how poor Robbie has been hard done by.

If this is the case they should both go. I don't believe what you are stating but if it's true that Moses and Brooks and maybe their buddy Tedesco are forcing Robbie out than they should all go.

At least that is how the Robbie haters should be reacting.

I hope that you just made up that story.

Most stuff here is made up. Probably after a beer of 7

It's a problem because the media make stuff-up and guys on here make stuff up. The thing is everyone believes that Robbie is the devil. Posters come up with the same stuff about Brooks/Moses & Tedesco but that's okay.

It's only okay because those players are probably all a lot better than Robbie is for the team at the moment.

Im pretty sure Weidler will come u with a corner story in the SMH tomorrow. Leaking this only makes him look bad I assume its from the club as I posted earlier the club is connected through bauer Media to RLW and the Australian Newspaper. Its all politics I wish we weren't involved in.

This makes Robbie look the victim and makes the club look bad. I can't see the club wanting to highlight this if it's in fact true

Robbie and Ayoub are wise media operators there is no way this makes Robbie look good they know that.
The source and ownership of RLW says it all. Clearly from the club as a pre emptive measure to discredit him as not being a club man. Pay him in full and let the man leave with some respect and integrity instead of battling it out in reserve grade and through leaked media articles.

The NRL will not allow any club to register him for $100,000, they said that when Rooster wanted to sign him for $50,000.

is this his current market value at NRL ?? :crazy

For a reserve grader.

One things for sure, there's no going back for him with us if he goes down this path. Plus, there's no way any other club will touch him with a 10 ft poll. I would guess court proceedings wouldn't be settled over night, so it could carry into next year while he's contracted with another club. Fat chance another club will put up with those distractions. Makes you wonder if he hasn't been able to find a club so as a result this is his end game. He's vindictive enough.

Another 20 pages of crap based on article which has an unnamed source as the source. Geezus Christ.

I know but I hope this whole saga is sorted out one way or another. It really is taking away how well the team has come along this year after a horror start. And this is not a supporting either Taylor or Farah.

Anyway let's focus on the game tomorrow as it is so important.

If what people are suggesting is true, that the club has leaked it to try and discredit him, then the circus just got a whole lot bigger. Its funny how ayoub and farah get hammered when a story comes out that has anything to do with him. Now the club is engaging in the media game. Again no winners. Again why would anyone want to join the tigers. Come on Pascoe your getting paid big bucks to run this place, its time to walk the walk.

Channel 9 news reported that Farah is NOT suing the club .

It needs to end from the club and the Farah camp. Golden handshake for a legend of the club to go and do whatever he wishes as long as its not at the Tigers. If he gets more coin good luck to him but this mystery salary cap relief was never worth the drama. Even Phil Gould came out and told WT management to pay the man out. Its pretty easy to work out stories from the Australian and RLW are (WT) stories from SMH (Weidler) are Farah camp. The Telegraph Buzz lean toward the Farah camp also.

Robbie Farah denies reports he’ll take legal action against Wests Tigers

STAFF WRITERSSource: FOX SPORTS
UPDATE: Robbie Farah has denied reports that he is set to sue the Wests Tigers, as the long-running saga twists towards a conclusion.

With Farah looking increasingly likely to leave the club this off-season, Rugby League Week reported the former club captain had taken legal advice and was set to sue his long-time club for harassment in the workplace.

According to the report, sources close to Farah revealed he was set to launch a claim that he has been bullied and harassed by club officials.

The report also stated Farah was likely to claim his long-running feud with Tigers coach Jason Taylor has caused him depression-like issues

You can also subscribe via iTunes or for Android users, listen on the iPP Podcast Player app.

However, that report was denied by Nine News, who reportedly contacted Farah on Sunday afternoon and were told he would not be going down that path.

Nine also reported that several law firms had contacted Farah offering to take up the case but those offers had so far been rejected by the 32-year-old.

Farah was dropped to reserve grade last month as Taylor finally made good on a threat posed to the former club captain last off-season when Farah was told he was free to find another club.

A season-ending injury to Matt Ballin and second-tier salary cap issues preventing the club from calling on young gun Jacob Liddle had earlier made that possibility appear unlikely but as the Tigers made a charge towards the top eight, Taylor cut the veteran soon after Origin and he hasn’t been back in first grade since.

It was the latest twist in a saga that has stretched over the best part of 12 months, as the Tigers attempt to rebuild their roster without a player currently soaking up a whopping $950,000 of the club’s salary cap.

Taylor’s decision to dump Farah to NSW Cup looks likely to bring that rebuild forward by a year, with speculation growing stronger that Farah will leave the club in the off-season.

Farah dropped out of the Tigers NSW Cup team last week due to a virus and has reportedly been absent from training for much of the past week.

He has been named to start in the No.9 jersey to play in the Tigers’ NSW Cup side against Newcastle at Hunter Stadium on Sunday.

Farah still has one year to run on his contract but has been strongly linked with a move to the Rabbitohs.

With fellow veteran hooker Mick Ennis retiring Cronulla are also understood to be a possible home for Farah in 2017.

Easy way to earn a million dollars …. Wish I could finish my career in reserves.
It might amuse Robbie as well you know

It probably will. He's shown before that there's no fight in him. Too scared to start over again at a new club.
It will keep him away from NSW selection aswell.

No fight in Robbie? His problem is there is too much fight in him.
Good to see some of you are savouring someones demise even a club legend. I am sure he is concerned about keyboard warriors on the forum.

Idiotic comments like that don't even deserve a reply. He was one of the Blues best even with a dud shoulder. Says it all.

That was great to read. Now the question becomes is the club really acting with absolutely no integrity and leaking BS to the media or did the media just make this up ?
