Farah to SOUTH SYDNEY in 2017..OFFICIAL..

Forget what has transpired over the past year, Farah should be remembered as one of our top three players ever and many would argue he should be no1\. So I am glad he is getting a well deserved send off especially at LO. Its a shame that many people have forgotten what a great footballer he was and are focused on recent dramas.

As for me well I think this whole drama had to be resolved and with Farah now going that will put this drama to bed at long last. Shame we had to loose a legend to get a resolution

Don't worry.
Robbie will lay the boot into the club sooner or later.
Ayoub will drum something up.

See you later good riddance !

And you should join him and exit too. It would immediately lift the class and quality of WT fans.

Agreed.. In addition to class cohesion amongst the WT fans will also improve significantly..

Overall it's the most logical decision, I'm a fan of Robbie and every other player that wore the jersey, especially the mob from 2005.. But it is what it s..

Good luck Robbie and all the best, I remember when you were coming through grade and thinking to myself gee how good is this kid.. and of course 2005 and all the other years you gave us hope with your hard work and natural skill..

That's life the show goes on..

Love him or hate him, it's sad that it come to this. Just like Benji, you probably won''t ever get used to seeing him in another clubs Jersey. He'll always be a Tiger.

I think it was all handled poorly when Potter was here and I don't mean all the drama about what Tallis said.

I think we just paid him too much for too long a time period. Now we have a player who is real good but probably at ET's level not at a superstar level which is how he is being paid.

I hope the club learns from this. We have a couple of players in Woods, Tedesco and Moses who are looking like great players. Brooks may come on as well. We need to manage these guys well.

Farah, Hodgo, Marshall??? ( in no particular order)…. Or Ellis? Prince? Lote?

Glad this got sorted out finally.

Robbie you have been a wounderful player for this club on and off the field, thanks for being such an important player for this club over the last 12yrs. Great captain and will be a wests tigers HOF soon enough.

Glad this is over & he deserves a rousing send-off today. There were a few years where he was the best club hooker in the world, IMHO.

On the SMHwebsite, they have reported a third club is after Farah, that would suggest he hasn't signed with anyone yet. I find that hard to believe, surely this wouldn't have been sorted if he hasn't signed with another club

SMH? really. He signed weeks ago with another club, which I posted. I believe that it was Souths.

Bittersweet day.

In one respect I am sad to see a great of club move on but he had to go. We couldn't have another year of this dominating headlines.

Best of luck Robbie at your next destination. Time heals all wounds and you will be remembered for the player you were at this club.

So…is that it in terms of scandals for the club? Is there anyone else who will put their hand up and give the Telegraph content next year?

Phil Rothfield has been in enough trouble. He has just returned this week after being suspended for three weeks following his Hayson involvement,

Ink I am with you on Farah Hogo and Marshall and not sure what order except I had a real soft spot for Hogo and Ellis and Prince would not be far behind although both played for us at close to their peak so we did not see them develop and fall away

TT was on the money. He said it would be settled in the lead up to the Raiders game. Question now is, how much are we saving next yr?

TBH even if we are paying him nearly all of his money it will be worth it, the club will be so much better off without this ugly saga dragging on for any longer.
Thanks for your service to our club Robbie, you are without doubt a WT legend. Sad to see it end sourly but at least he will get the send off that his career with us deserved.

Ellis, Prince and Lote aren't WT legends IMO. Great players yes.
Farah, Marshall, Hodgo, Skando are the WT legends, in that order IMO.
Hopefully Teddy and Moses will be next.

Class RF gives new meaning to he word class could not be bothered for his 900k to earn it ..in paper this morning which highly paid player parties all night on game night then complains of a virus and does not play THIS IS WHAT I REMEBER OF THE GREAT LEGEND THAT BLEEDS FOR THE CLUB just another player that this club has had IMO a real class act would of played to the end but let's not let this get in the way

The wording of the quotes from Farah to me suggest that he might not be playing in the NRL next year, though I'm probably reading too much into it.

NBN North Coast news break on Friday said he has been given a release from WT and his new Club would be announced "later today"(Friday).Obviously that didn't happen but the first part of the story was correct.

Based on where we are at now this is the best option. I don't think it should have or needed to get to this state but it is what it is.

Agree with you 100%. I hope he gets the accolades he deserves today.
