Once again had an unbelievable game in a losing side.

55 tackles (once again most tackles from both teams), 2 missed tackles, 66 metres, 2 try assists.

My worry now is how he is going to recover from this game, not so much physically but more mentally. He's going to come into the Tigers camp on a down more so than on a high if NSW had won. I just hope he doesn't let this rub off to the other players in the team and he and the rest of the team can play well against the Dogs as this week is a massive game for our season.

Let this loss fire you up for the Dogs game Robbie!

Great performance from our captain, all after being knocked out as well. Felt bad for him knocking on in the 2nd half but he is only human!
I think it's up to the rest of our lads to pick him up on Friday, if they show 1/2 as much heart as he did tonight we'll smash 'em.

Work hard Tigers!!!!!

Yeah all credit to Robbie, the man is an absolute champion the way he has stood strong through recent times.

He has had a very tough 3 weeks. TFootball wise, this time after the second origin he was on top of the world…his form was awesome, his club side doing really well and NSW had drawn the series.

Then his world crashed down with his personal loss, the club playing extremely poorly and NSW losing the decider. He couldnt hide his emotions after the game and it was heartbreaking to see. He is a champion but your right...mentally he might be down. Playing the high flying dogs might be a big ask.

All credit goes to a small bloke who got smashed in the 1st half and then put on a great kick for the try that drew us level, 2 mistakes and one bad option on the last were his only blemishes, one has to think if he didn't have to spend 65 minutes clearing his head all those wrong options would have been the right ones!.

IMO it is wrong to criticise Robbie for his "mistakes"..or "wrong" options…The Guys is a champion and we, true tigers fans, should not even think about picking faults in his game.

NSW lost it in the halves...our 6 and 7 failed to make an impression in ALL 3 games...whereas tonight QLD's 6 and 7 showed what great players they are....

Our 9 is a champion and in my unbiased opinion was NSW man of the series!

He played like a true champion all series. He has been through personal agony the past few weeks and throw in the gutting loss tonight, I would consider giving him a week or two off. He probably feels totally drained mentally and emotionally, an there is no series win to act as a small "pick me up"

I don't know the guy. Maybe being around footy and backing up Friday night and being around the Tigers might be the best thing for him. However I would have no qualms with him taking the week or two off, its tough to see him in tears at the end of a match.

The bottom line is he would be really drained.

Amen to all of the above, but did anyone see him in the first 20 minutes of the Newcastle game? Yes, I know that game goes for 80, but the bloke was dead set on fire. He looked dangerous every time he touched the ball. I reckon playing this Friday would be the best for him, something to distract him…

No complaints if he takes a break though

I thought he was the best player on the park. Tremendous. Of course there are going to be the odd error when you're that involved in the game. We have a true champion here at the Tigers. I hope he plays tomorrow night, however doubtful.

If you're fair dinkum Robbie's knock on was no worse than Pearces miss on Thurston or Carneys kick out on the full

His error at the play the ball near the end was a bad blue but all up he had a good game even after the bad knock he took. I would say he cemented his position in the team.

What I dont understand is the head clash. If you go in head first (like Richard Villasanti used to) why is this not deemed to be attacking the head like a shoulder charge gone wrong?

He was outstanding again. IMO his back is going to be sore from carrying that side through all three games.

My worry is that he is going to be mentally drained. Don't think he'll play this week after being knocked out again, that's what, the third or fourth time this year? It's becoming a real concern.

To see him in tears at the end of the game was hard to take. What a champion.

He's in terrific form. If he wants to play, let him. Might be his only escape from the personal tragedy he has endured.

What a champion hooker he will be nsw hooker untill he retires and u can bet he wont want to miss the clash on friday we will win fire up tigers.

It was heartbreaking to see. The guy has been a rock for NSW through the whole series and finally the emotional toll of the last few weeks came out after fulltime. Incidentally while he did drop the ball, the preceeding "shove" by Thurston towards the sideline would have drawn a penalty in any game bar a decider a Lang Park. If it wasn't for Farah NSW wouldn't have been close enough to have a chance at that point anyway.
Hold your head high Robbie, the way you've conducted yourself through the series and particularly the last 3 weeks makes you a credit to your state, club and most importantly your family (including your Wests Tigers supporters "family"). We're all proud of you.

Theres only one Robbie, a true champion player & bloke, keep your head up mate where all with you, & i hope you play against the Dogs & we win & go on to win the comp.
