Farah

I have been watching football for a LONG time and Farah is without doubt a legend in the making.
On top of year in , year out , outstanding performances he played the entire time last year while injured and this year has had to cope with more injuries and the loss of his Mum.
I can't believe some people were calling for him to be dropped as captain earlier this year.
Even supporters of other clubs now acknowledge him as a champion - a guy you would want next to you in the trenches.
If Gallen can't take the field for NSW for any reason in the future then he's the obvious choice for NSW captain.
A quality player and human being.

I'm hoping Robbie backs up but he would have to be in some doubt for the game tomorrow. Head knocks aside, it's been as demanding a period as he's ever had too. Sheens will obviously have to assess his state before giving him the all clear. Hopefully he's all good and ready to fire and he can have a few days off after the game.

What another great performance. People on here were questioning his ability to captain the side a few seasons back. This year he has shown exactly why he is such a great leader. From standing up to Matty Johns and all the criticism early in the year, to keeping that fight and determination in himself to get that Blues jersey back, and then on top of it all to play so well through Origin and after the tough circumstances of the last three weeks… I can't wait to stand up and clap him as he runs on to the field tomorrow night.

And on another note, I'm still scratching my head as to how he didn't get Man of the Match last night, or even Man of the Series. How the hell did Nate Myles get it?! Farah tackled his ring off in 2 & 3, broke the tackling record, set up two of NSW's tries last night, not to mention the ones from the other games..

Wow, Farah was the best NSW player out there last night. When Carney and Pearce seemed to dissapear in the second half when we needed them Farah stood up as a hooker and kicked two amazing balls for trys. He demanded that morris and stewart get to those difficult balls and they trusted him! So awesome to see a tigers player out there for a change. Without Farah we would have definitely not come as close.

It was a risky play that Farah attempted where thurston took another lift and tackle to get him close to the sideline and Farah threw his arm out (as clever players do in regular season) and the touch judge to see or do nothing???????

it probably should have been penalty to blues with 3mins to go or atleast play the rule book and its a qld scrum for robbie going out of play. In the end that really frustrated farah and he played the ball badly…etc

Good game and great series to the farah man!!!!!!! hope he can back up we need his leadership

Another great game by Farah to cap off a fantastic series. His Game III player ratings:
FOX Sports: 9/10 (highest in any team)
League Central (Barry Toohey): 8/10 (behind Morris twins, Inglis, Thurston and equal to Miles, Parker)
The Age (Michael Cowley): 8/10 (behind JMorris and Thurston, equal to Gallen and 6 other Qlders)
NRL (Peter Sterling): 7/10 (behind a few and equal to several, Sterlo seems the odd man out!)

Feel free to add other ratings!

(Sorry if someone else has posted this but couldn't find it)

According to fox sports news Farah, Hayne and Bird are all in doubt for their club games this week.

I thought he would have been a shoe-in for player of the series. One of the best in game 1, the best player on the field in game 2, and one of the best again last night. Can't work out how a troglodyte from the cro-magnon era got it.

A true champion and so glad he plays in Wests Tigers colours.

His long term health is paramount so hope he is rested this week.

Odd man out??? He is an idiot. Did you hear his comments last night? You would have thought that he was a Queenslander. (Dopey Gould as well, and I thought that Rabs was getting tingles down his leg every time Inglis got the ball).

On another note, is anyone on this forum still interested in getting Pearce in 2014? God, he and Carney were hopeless.

ONYA ROBBIE! Legendary performance. Can only benefit the Tigers having him play for NSW (except for Friday where I doubt he'll play).

Be surprised if he plays tomorrow.

Seemed to be concussed - he missed a play the ball on at least two occassions and was off balance on a few occassions.

probably needs a break this game unfortunately.
If we had won then maybe but concussion + downer + the effort he would put in and 2 days turn around.. no way.

Best case scenario starts on bench and maybe get 40 out of him id be inclined to just let him recover freshen up for the second half of the year - gonna be a tough game with or without him

He got a 5 on the Courier Mail site, which just happened to be the equal lowest of any qld player (Shillington)… And the cane toads try and claim that the NSW press are biased!!! :bash

That is a debarcle. He was outstanding last night. The QLDer i watched it with actually said he should get player of the series, and he hates the tigers.
They rarely give it to a player in a losing side.

Hasn't been officially ruled out but according to Brad Walter's (SMH) twitter feed he pulled out of the Tigers/Bulldogs press conference today and is expected to pull out of the team.

IMO it is wrong to criticise Robbie for his "mistakes"..or "wrong" options…The Guys is a champion and we, true tigers fans, should not even think about picking faults in his game.

NSW lost it in the halves...our 6 and 7 failed to make an impression in ALL 3 games...whereas tonight QLD's 6 and 7 showed what great players they are....

Our 9 is a champion and in my unbiased opinion was NSW man of the series!

perfectly put alexaki.
i actually thought i was watching the tigers last night with Robbie doing it all. Its not hard to see where stuart learned his coaching trade. From his old Raiders boss
He was even two props short as well.

Agreed - 4 backrowers on the bench, what a joke. Stuart even admitted he was playing Creagh in the front row. I'd be okay with that if Creagh was playing well this year, but he's been average, and certainly no better than Woods or KG.

I can't believe Farah didn't get man of the series. He was the most dominant/influential in ALL 3 games.

Who got MoM last night?
