i agree ink. no one doubts his passion or attitude towards the club, but really potter has to pull him aside and tell him to let everyone do their job for the team.

i know he is the captain and must feel like he has to do it all but really, as stryker says, his place is at dummy half, not usurping the halves in their roles - it is counter productive not only to the team structure, but is not fair on the halves and stops them from doing what they are there to do.

the only way the team is going to improve on sundays performance is for him to show faith in his team mates and let them come into their own as players. at the moment he is stifling them.

he needs to have a bit of patience and let brooks come into his own.

What a sicophantic rant. You're using the worst kind of argument, a weak logic which tries to indicate that anyone that doesn't agree with you isn't loyal to the club or a true fan.

News flash. Not everyone agrees with your assessment and it doesn't make them any less a fan to say so.

Hey Majere, if you are going to use big words, you really should understand them so that you can use them in context.

I suggest you look up the word sycophant (correct spelling) and see if you can determine where you went astray in your reply. You're never too old to learn something new….
 
Yes Stryker i think he tried his Gut out as well, & it probably back fired a bit, but maybe some one else should of stood up as well. I agree with you.

This thread is making me feel horribly uncomfortable. Robbie has been the heart of the team for so long. Gone close to Daly M
twice. Carried the team through some tricky times. Been my fave player. BUT, the whole aura of the FG team needs to change with our strong group of young players coming through. This will be the year he stands up as the senior team leader, or the selfish 'me' player. Hope he proves to be the champion I believe he is.

i really hope he becomes a great leader, which means being the best for the team, which means a slight change of thought process on the field imo.

i still remember (a couple of seasons ago?) reading the article about him having "SOO" written on his wrist taping and have to say it really annoyed me. maybe a small thing, but in my view, having such a personal goal/reminder in plain sight of his teammates during a tigers game was very selfish.

tbh, i dont know where it first came from, but in the past i have thought of farah as holding state of origin and trying to prove he is the best hooker well above the fortunes of the team he is captain of. i also always roll my eyes at his all too often darts from dummy half to try to score himself.

may be a harsh assessment, and i dont know him, so it is very possible i am completely wrong.

in short, i do really hope he plays well for the team and does show himself to be a great leader rather than the "me" player this season, but in my opinion his historical/current tack needs to change a little.
 
I agree, turnstyle. More of the same from Robbie won't be good enough to make the team more competitive. But, he is such a classy player that it's not a huge leap in strategy and performance that's required. He's smart and courageous and I am glad he's with us and not another team.
 
Well he looked bloody awesome for the first 30 mins..first game,On a drip all week,hot day,forwards getting owned.

I think he went ok….

Class will rise.
