**What does he consistently do for us?**
He tries his butt off. Then again he overplays his hand a lot of the time and telegraphs most of his plays.
**Is he worth the money?**
Impossible question to answer really.
Top players in his position are a hot commodity nowadays. It's simple supply and demand. He may not have the class of Cam Smith but that's nothing new. He's the next best. For this reason, IMO, Farah should probably be in the second tier of NRL's top wage earners. Ultimately this is a moot point anyway cos you're worth what you can get at the time.
**Does he hinder the development of our young cubs?**
No.
Anyway, we are all a bit disappointed because we know that Robbie really is a much better player than he showed on the weekend. IMO he would need to play a string of games like that in a row for me to be concerned at all. He really wasn't that bad guys. He is just guilty of trying too hard sometimes. At least he has the skill and ability to rectify that. (Unlike Anasta.) I think we'd all love to see Robbie revert to the play of mid 00's where he was quicker out of the ruck and played 3rd or 4th fiddle in attack (to Prince, Benji and Hodgson). If Brooks gets a grip on the team and we get a good 5/8 foil for him then we will see Farah chill out a bit.
And here we get to my point….
I just think that Anasta may very well be the reason why Farah overplays his hand a lot of the time nowadays. Farah is forced to become the 2nd play-maker because he probably has more faith in hims own play-making ability than he does in Anasta.... and rightly so. Thus, why don't we just direct our frustration towards management for sticking with Anasta - the guy is utter garbage at 5/8 and has NO potential to improve. Get Austin/Sironen/Moses in at 5/8 and let Anasta warm the bench. He at least has solid utility value.
