He'll be fine for the start of next season, afterall, an origin series will be on the horizon. After that? Who knows. I'd happy to see Canberra take him away from us.

Have you watched us play without Farah?

Seriously, the guy made some mistakes. He isn't perfect. He doesn't claim to be perfect either. Give him a break.

15th last year and 13th this year. Thats with him in the side, can we do much worse if he leaves. I think his onfield actions dont compensate his off field actions anymore.

You have got to be kidding. Without Robbie in this inexperienced team, "say hello to the wooden spoon" gallagher.

Next season it will probably be Brooks or Teddy that they'll have the hatchets out for or someone else who they decide that does'nt fit with their ideal of what a Captain Or top player should be.
You're right about the wooden spoon
Who needs grub so called journalists attacking our club and players when we have so many grub "supporters" attacking our Captain and best player. Must be relations of Ennis . Funny that most other clubs in the NRLwould snap him up in a heartbeat if they had the chance.
Start jumping on some of the imposters that he has to carry most games.

His kicking wasnt as bad as his passing. I expect more from dummy halfs in under 12s.

His delivery from dummy half seemed quite slow at times, which meant the receiver got smashed. I need to look again to see if the receiver was to blame.

He is the Heart & Soul of this Club, As was said he has had a long season & has a crook Elbow. So just cut him a bit of slack as he probably shouldnt be playing.

I agree that Robbie is a champion player, and that without him we are not as good. And he has my total respect for that.

But he has not acted like a captain on or off the field for some time. When the going gets tough the captain needs to lead the way and that was clearly not evident.

Maybe I am old school but it has certainly looked like his attitude rubbed off on almost all those around him on the field. That's the influence a captain has be it positive or negative, and to be frank in this game I expect a lot more than I've seen from him.

These young blokes need a bullet proof leader otherwise we'll breed a whole new generation of fair weather players all over again. So I'm massively disappointed in Robbie for that and for mine it brings his ability to captain into question.

Well said 'barra'. It's one thing to have a bad day personally and to have it pop breifly into your, very public, professional life is perhaps understandable but to carry it with you full time is another matter altogether especially when you're expected to perform as a leader and role model.
I can't see them taking the captaincy off him but I think the 'new broom' should be sending him on some leadership courses.

13th or wooden spoon, is there a big difference? If his little sook about tallis was earlier in the year then we WOULD have got the spoon. He
de-railed our season and continually puts himself before the team.

Well said. Lets hope it doesn't drag into next season. Hopefully a new season will see the re-emergence of the attitude and commitment shown in the first half of the season rather than the last few.

And this is the exact poblem. The off field primadonna. Please Robbie please take your on field qualities and bring them into your off field life. After all we all should act like men and not weasels talking behind peoples backs etc.

I've just reread the three pages of this thread and I still don't get the level of anger being directed at Robbie. He is still our captain, best player and our heart and soul.

Robbie isn't to blame for any of what happened in the last few weeks of the season -

He was unwise for speaking to Tallis, as you can't trust anyone in the media, but it was Tallis who held onto the information until he could use it to do maximum damage.

He didn't 'leak' to the media that Potter was going to be sacked whether we won or lost to St George. That stunt clearly destabilized the team. As did the holding of a club evaluation in the middle of the season. You'd only do that if you wanted to start rumours and make coaches and players anxious about the future.

It wasn't Robbie's fault that we had to play forwards in the backs because of our injury toll. The teams we fielded against the Cowboys and the Roosters couldn't have beaten anybody.

Robbie Farah deserves our support.

Apparently It does'nt matter if it is his fault or not, it's just another excuse for the Farah knockers to have a whack at him..
As I've said previously . If you take him out of the last few games the scoreboard would have run out of numbers ( or pixels)

Robbie is one of the best players in the game he could go to any NRL team and he would be first choice hooker (except Melbourne) we have been going pretty badly for years and years and he never walked away and he never gave up on field so if after all these years he has a bad attitude for the last few games of the year well that's a very small price to pay

I'm not so sure that Farah is the No 2 hooker in the NRL anymore Still a very good player ,don't get me wrong but I don't think that Penrith ,Souths or Manly would swap their hookers for Robbie

i don't know what you had for breakfast Happy ?
i disagree with you
Manly's Ballin has nothing on Farah , Farah's creativity smokes him under the table , Ballin tackles himself to a standstill but Farah can easily do 40+ tackles , Farah has a kicking game from dummy half long or short , and there is not 1 hooker that knows when to run from dummy half better than Farah he even knows when to dive himself on top of a defender and milk a penalty. Ballin has played 180 or so 1st grade game's in a row that's about it .
Penrith's Segyaro is improving and in a year or 2 could be as good as Farah , but he hasn't got the creativity that Farah offers and does slip of tackles .
Souths Issac Luke would be the only i think Souths wouldn't exchange Farah for , Luke is brilliant from dummy half with his runs and has the mongrel , very inspirational player . Does cost his side alot of penalties though .

When we are firing it's got to do with Farah playing well , it's easy to single him out but we have had a massive injury toll along with the media trying to break us down .
Maybe Farah hasn't handled it well and he will be the 1st to admit it , but he's only Human and when our side is firing again it will be alot to do with Farah being settled in our injury free side continuing to work the combinations with our young side .
Let's see how he goes next year before crucifying him like Benji.
IN FARAH I TRUST :sign:
