Farah's Groin Super Thread

Tendonitis can be managed through both rest and painkillers . Maybe when we get a few back and rested him on either side of byes he may get thru til end of season and surgery then if required Byes are round 9 and 17 ???

Forgot to add when he is rested would play Fulton at dummy half with Moltzen giving him a spell from time to time (last ten minutes of either half ) Could be a dynamite couple together

Keep hearing this everywhere.

If this is true we are honestly F'd.

What makes you think its true

I am not saying it is true, but I've heard whispers for a while. Where there is smoke there is fire.

BTW, as if Farah would admit it on national TV, even if it was true. That quote means nothing.

So in other words he's a liar?

Yeah Farahs a liar and all the theories on here are gospel.
FFS!
I'll take what he says over any mug on here…tho I assume most arent naive enough to know sometimes players/coaches & officials do bend the truth

Sounded like a direct answer to a direct question. Basically you're saying Farah lied when he gave his answer?

If this was true, do you honestly think that Farah would come out and openly say "yeah the groin is bad at the moment, and I'm just holding off on surgery for a couple of weeks until we get some hands back on deck."

Honestly?

What I'm saying is there is a difference between giving a non-answer ortalking generally and giving a specific answer with details. The first is avoiding the truth, the second would be an outright lie.

Besides as if it makes a difference if he says it's a little bit uncomfortable or a major discomfort? If you're going to target you'd target it no matter how bad it was…

Tendonitis is inflammation and it rarely leads to surgery!!!

Pain killers & anti-inflammatories (+ rest as HappyT states) are the 99% options for treatment!!

If there was anything really threatening about the injury he wouldn't be playing. Sheens wouldn't risk him for short term gain.

So he says he is playing in discomfort, a lot of players do these days. Until he gets carried off the field I'm not going to worry too much.

He goes alright for a bloke playing in discomfort, can't wait for him to be fully fit.

lol at all this over reaction of tendonitis, it is a very common thing, and as far as i know it cant be treated with surgery? i know the groin would be an awkward spot to get it but it wont happen.

A RUMOUR IS A RUMOUR SO LETS KEEP IT AT THAT. UNTIL ANYTHING IS OFFICIAL SIT DOWN AND SHUT THE FRONT DOOR.

1-5% of serious/long term tendonitis complaints may require surgery!

Rob's is not long term - or serious enough to stop him playing!!!

Enough said!!!

Guesty depends exactly where the Tendonitis is will depend on surgery chances . Talking of rumours Lindy Chamberlain once said " A rumour will circle the earth before the truth puts its shoes on' so very true

if he needs an injection to play in games, just make sure the fiasco that happended to him a couple of seasons ago when playing souths at leichhardt is not repeated.
you know when he lost feeling in one of his legs and was forced to sit on bench for most of game.

Honestly…some people are deluded.

Note, I'm not saying it is true, however if it was HE WOULD NOT GO ON NATIONAL TELEVISION AND TELL EVERYONE IN AUSTRALIA HIS GROIN IS F'D AND NEEDS SURGERY!!

Just think about it for a second.
