Anyone still questioning Marshall and Farah's relationship ought to have watched Benji crying his eyes out during the minute silence

So sad to hear this terrible news. To me it does feel like a death in the family. Love and prayers to the Farah family. Very sorry for your loss. Rest in peace.

Any rumours of the whole Benji/Farah feud should be put to bed today. Benji either cried a little or deadset did everything he could to hold back tears during the minutes silence.

Wish Robbie all the best, was amazing to be a part of that 20,000-strong silence. Could have heard a pin drop.

Thoughts and prayers to Robbie and family and congrats to the crowd today absolute silence was very impressed

I cannot say i know how he feels, because my mum is alive,I do however feel the deepest sorrow for the whole Farah family.
I hope you are well Robbie,or as good as can be,our thoughts are with you

Usually during a minute of silence during a sporting game there are a few disrespectful morons who yell out. Not today. There was total silence at Leichhardt for the full 60 seconds - a tribute to Sonia. It also shows the respect we Tigers fans have for Robbie. I felt honoured to be a part of that today. All tigers fans will have Robbie and his family in our prayers.

RIP Mrs Farah.

Robbie is 28 and that's a young age to lose your mum. I am 41 and I've really appreciated getting to know my parents more and more as people and friends now they are retired. Seeing them enjoy their retirement and life has been lovely. That's way too young for Mrs Farah to go. My thoughts are with Robbie.

It's just so so sad …. I feel so deeply for Robbie and his family.
Nothing ever prepares you for when it happens .... Puts so many things in life into perspective.

May her soul rest with God in heaven.

Sad news for Robbie and his family. The only good thing I suppose least his Mum got to see his return to origin and his 2 strong performances.

Best wishes to Robbie and look forward to seeing him back on the field whenever that may be. I'm sure he will continue to play with that passion his Mum would be proud of.

That was the quietest minute ive ever seen/heard at Leichhardt.

The players were visibly upset and so was the crowd.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Robbie.

really sad news today and sincerest thoughts and prayers to robby and his family. the minutes silence before kick off had a quite unbeleivable feeling around the ground. you could feel the crowds emotion and the applause after was sincere and quite moving.
