As the title says Blake Ferguson has been offered an off field job with the Roosters

I hope the NRL investigates this , no doubt he will be playing for the Roosters in 2015

He'll be involved with the juniors and PCYC according to the article on NRL.com

They really don't know the meaning of the word "bottom of the barrel"

Involved with the juniors?I would want to keep him as far away from our juniors as possible, not exactly a role model. So I'm guessing his income from this year won't count towards next years salary cap when he is playing. They don't call them the Rorters for no reason.

Only watching NRL 360 now and Paul Kent reckons they are doing this to try and push through a contract before the June 30th deadline

If the NRL allow the Roosters to register a contract to a bloke who is on a suspended 2 year sentence for sexual assault that'll do me a you will know for sure that Politis does have some control of the NRL

If Rob Lui had to sit out 12 months so should Ferguson End of story

Not that I condone any kind of assault, but didn't Ferguson grope someone, whereas Lui belted his partner, twice? Allegedly, I say allegedly for all of this in case some weren't actual convictions.

And the NRL suspended Mitch Moses for two matches for swearing on the field?

Can only hope he derails the FG squad and they implode. Oh would that make my day.

I think that's already happening, CB - they don't need Ferguson to do it lol

I reckon they'll make an Underbelly series, with Politis as the main character, one day.

Well I wish someone would lock him up already Flip

The bloke's too stupid to refill the bloody staplers in the office. I wouldn't trust him with a pencil sharpener.

All the talent in the world, but also potentially the dumbest. He's one guy the game does not need back, time bomb waiting to happen. I've seen him out and let me tell you he is one of the most disgraceful, cocky and dead set stupidest people I've ever seen. The way he speaks to women would make you want to knock his head in.

Cut him loose and let him spend his days learning to colour between the lines with bloody crayons.

Funny you should say that, cos there's legislation for exactly that purpose. Full article in the Age.

Under the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 a conviction for indecent assault automatically bars a person from working with children.
For that to be lifted, Ferguson would have to clear a NSW Commission for Children and Young People risk assessment. Anyone in child-related work must pass a "Working with Children Check".
