Field goal set

This was the one thing that caught my attention, when Mannah dropped that ball Austin took control of the set, and rather than side to side nonsense, immediately set up for the field goal, with big boppers running us towards the posts, before Brooks calmly slotted it. Looks like another way we've been deSheensified.

Austin was very impressive. He cant be held back any longer IMO.

Austin is a lot better than Anasta and its not really close. To add to that we have a million forwards better than Anasta.

If I had to pick one man that turned that game I would give Austin that honour… the second he got on he was barking orders. We looked lost, we needed a leader, and god bless him he trotted out there with massive brass ones the size of watermelons and filled the void like a pimp...

+1 on Austin.
Great game making things work properly. He'll probably be starting 9 next week but needs to be starting 6 with anasta to reggies.

That set was unlike the tigers. How many times over the years have we messed those sets up! That was excellent and then keeping possession of the ball until fulltime. Brilliant work!

It was a very well structured set and I always suspected Austin would make an impact at dummyhalf with his running game. Luani was solid, but Austin has that extra bit of speed and urgency about him and is always looking to make things happen.

Great set, but even the spearing pass by Austin to give Brooks enough time to take a unpressured kick, was right on the mark and fast.

I just watched the last play with the kick x3\. Beautiful work by both Austin and Brooks

Austin structured the team from dummy half. We were in all sorts until he ran out.

His input to set us up for the field goal was terrific.

every game he's played for us this year he has ADDED value. Can't bag the guy at all. I put it all down to his haircut. Looks like a football player so plays like a football player!! Lets face it. 2014 is about the hair!!!

Austin did really well. Does that call for Anasta's head ? NO
For God sake peeps, Blake is 23 years old and Anasta perhaps in his last year of footy.

If it aint broken dont replace it.
Austin deserves to be in FG and he will be there full time next season.

In the meantime lets leave the winning formula alone.

Yeh, us tigers fans should have the worst possible, because he is in his last year.

No thanks, but I never really had empathy when it came to picking players.

I have no idea what the selection implications are of your advocacy, but I dont think I agree with them. Austin has to be in and someone else out.

Chances of Braith being dropped seem slim, seeing as he was the captain this week in Robbie's absence. Can't see Potter dropping him after that.

How many times over the years have we had the chance for a field goal to win a game and we end up with a limp and horrible set, stuffing it up? That was just perfect today.

Hell yes…and Brooks never looked like missing it

i was certain patty would take the kick but then i saw brooks' left boot slot it straight in between. that was such a clean kick.
