Well said tigersrule4life - Willow you can close the thread.

Lets start one up on Mosese Fotuiaka…

What crap….dont enter it if you dont like it...nothing stopping you creating a thread on a topic you like.

Fifita is still a developing player, I beleive with good coaching and tuition he will come good.

You're right Ink, but he has to be in the right head space too. He suffered from a bad attitude last season as much as a lull in form.

We should have offered them Groat or BMM instead. Apart from Woods, Fifita was the best up'n'comer we had last season. Groat put in a solid effort but Fifita has a little bit more spice, and I think he would be interesting in our scrum-pack once he learns how to use his skills

lol definitely not.

Gibbs is the man, he'll be one of the sharks best i believe.
Just like he was @ the tigers.

Fifita is pretty average however, not rly sold on him yet.
Seems lazy.

Close it why?
If you want a thread on Fotuiaka, theres nothing stopping you from creating one yourself

It is certainly up there AHX but I think you could quite easily put Greg Inglis in the same boat

Also forgot about Idris as well

I just wonder how much - knowing he was on the outer here , and his immaturity - contributed to that.

He's not on the outer now, and everyone matures eventually….I may be on the wrong track but I was very surprised we let him go
Time will tell

No my lunch was fine.
Why do you want to close the thread?
Easier to just not click on it….but here you are yet again.

All I was doing was agreeing with Tigersrule4life! And the closing the thread was a joke with Willow because we couldn't agree on Fifita.

Why do you have to take everything so literally! I couldn't care if the thread goes on for 150 pages (although it will get very boring if it does).

I think a lot of people are criticising Fifitas play just because he has signed elsewhere.

He is a very good player and will be missed

You really are an annoying character, everyone else is friendly and can express themselves without abusing people. We are all here to have some fun, why can't you just lighten up and let other people who are not in your little click express their opinions. Do you process any resemblances to a scene of humor ?

He has the potential to be a very good player, we saw quite alot of that potential. I'm sure there are a few fans out there who may criticise because he is going, but the fact of the matter is that the larger group went green on him early last season where his form fell, before all the drama about him departing for Cronulla was even in the picture.

Anyone backing Fifita didn't watch him get made to look a fool in State Cup for half a season.
I saw players who will never make grade, Make him look stupid. He was ineffective at State Cup level.
Truth be told as many Boom Rookies fall by the way side as go on to be superstars….
From what I saw at the end of last year... I'm not confident he can turn it around.
For his sake... i hope I'm wrong!!

I heard many similar reports that he looked average at best, but I'm inclined to agree with Ink on this one. He had nothing to play for, and while not real smart, just couldnt find the reason to 'bring it'…

I enjoyed watching him do some damage early in his career, but I also saw many deficencies for Andrew to be a top line Prop in the NRL. Its not just about linebreaks and fends...

From a RL perspective, lets hope Andrew Fifita is one of the kids who do turn it around and reach great heights within his career. If he does, I will be very happy to claim him as coming through the Tigers System

I think there is a bit of this, fans turn on players when they leave , also we all had high hopes for him last year, and he didn't match our high expectations and now we are being overly hard on him.

He definitely has a huge potential, but the difference between performance and potential has yet to be bridged at this point.

Sure there is a small element of fans that do Goose, but if that were the case, Gibbs would be copping a barrage of abuse as well wouldn't he? The general consensus is that we'd all love to have him back.

Most agree he has the potential to be a great player, but acknowledge his form last year was lacking, and it was before the Cronulla issues began. Most want to see him succeed still, but they also say that he has a long way to go (much as yourself have noted above.)

I hope he finds the right attitude and brings about his form at Cronulla, just as long as it's not against us!

I don't think he was happy playing state cup level. The guy is a first grader. He's still a kid. With age will come wisdom. Afterall he's in the blues emerging squad for Ricky Stuart.

I think the main difference happy is that fifita does it in the forwards and at a different angle to both inglis and idris. For fifita this is a weapon but for idris and inglis they have different weapons so to speak. I think fifita has the strongest fend in the NRL used consistantly.

Definitely agree with this.

He obviously does have some attitude/training issues but with his head in the right place, he could be anything. People who are hammering him are obviously just upset because he has signed with the Sharks.

He could go either way, end up a nobody or become a superstar, who knows. But to dismiss him just because he's gone is a bit petty.
