Fifitas Comments

@Pistol_Pete said:
No, they can and they have said all is ok.

It's like when the US tanks rolled down the main drag of baghdad and that Iraqi information minister told the world they had crushed the infidels and defeated the vile scourge of the US.

There are divisions and anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded.

The biggest conundrum will be what we do this week. If TAB were framing a market it would be:
$3.50 - visit a homeless youth centre
$4.50 - drug rehab centre
$8.00 - a car crash victim who last watched a tigers game in 2006
$15.00 - nursing home visit

We'll then have a lovely fluff piece written by WT's own minister for information and everyone saying great stuff.

Look I don't care if we have players who are out mangled at northies, not letting old ladies in when lanes merge, etc etc all i care abou is winning football matches.

 comparing the Iraq invasion to football operations… That's a classic.

Of course it's sour grapes, why else say it, if he was truly happy his comments would have focused on the sharks.

It didnt sound good at all. He actually said "unlike the tigers". Even suggested we sit in seperate sheads

Well then why was he so upset at being let go?????

Surely not a good place to be. Just trying to put the boot in me thinks, but I could be wrong

Glad he is happy at the sharks, lets see how he goes if they lose a couple in a row

Don't care if people don't like each other at the tigers, I just want them to start winning a few games

When this comes from the media you can brush it off.

When it comes from a player, well now that's a concern.

Just what the hell is going on?

Cronulla - a team of complete nevilles who have a dig every week and have a real go even when beaten

Tigers - a team of alleged superstars who have jagged 1 win out of 6

Why can their coach motivate a team so limited in ability and our's can't motivate a team of superstars ??

Strange Fifita had no problems when he was here and was filthy when he got the rissole and told everyone he didn't want to leave Shame he didn't go to St Turds where he would have been a perfect fit

Of course its true, how could u not believe a 21 year old lazy trainer, with off field issues, who thinks hes a rock star? Yep, dripping in credibility is Mr Fifita

You guys are kidding yourselfs if you don't think there are problems at the club . Big egos

i don't care that it came from fifita or payten.

i doubt he would just come out and lie.

i really don't understand the animosity toward the kid to be honest.

1\. Fifita wasn't let go from the Tigers. His manager was shopping him around from mid 2010\. The Club had no interest in matching the dollars on offer.

2\. Who cares what he thinks? He is a spoil brat trying to cause drama for the people who 'tried' to get him to focus on his football rather than his ego. He didn't like what he heard from some members of the playing group.

3\. Of course we have factions at the Tigers… We are a club that has 3 times the income than the Sharks and money brings opinions/factions!

Well the Tigers captain Robbie Farah said something along the lines to Matty Johns "come down to training and you won't find a tighter bunch of blokes".
Farah's credibility > Fifita's credibility

Farah also described us as soft a week earlier, yet arced up when Johns mentioned it.

Maybe the so called Marshall Farah feud has been mistaken for a general cliquey divisive set of groups in the squad

Cronulla is a different culture.

Every player eats together during the week with food provided at the Leagues club etc. Our guys are close at training but move in different social sets.

There is no major rift but they do not all hang out together as one big group whereas the Sharks do and always have done.

It could well just be sour grapes, who knows with Fifita. However, when you have a head coach, who obviously plays favourites when it comes to team selection, you can't help but think that this will set the tone for the culture of the team. The culture of a place is always influenced by the attitude and behaviour of those at the top.

So are you suggesting Tigers have their own Twilight saga going on??
Team Bagz
or
Team Faff
Load of bollocks, and this crap has been fueled year after year with none of it ever coming to light except through speculation.
The only division within is being caused by Humpty Dumbty…

I dont pretend to know anything.
Plenty of scoops here with inside sources for that.
I did start my post with "Maybe…"

Why dont you elaborate on Humphries, instead of just dropping some bait then peeing off as per your usual form?
