Fifitas Comments

i don't care that it came from fifita or payten.

i doubt he would just come out and lie.

i really don't understand the animosity toward the kid to be honest.

Me either

There is division in the tigers camp. I know an ex player who was captain and he despises sheens.

He probably despises him because he one of the very few players who have been on the receiving end of Sheens making a tough call when he stripped him of the captaincy

All Fifita threads have been merged. Anything pertinent to the topic of comments made by Fifita to stay here.

Interesting comments

You'd think he would have been happy leaving the club then, I don't know what to believe from the guy. Last year he was whinging about being dumped by the Tigers, now apparently it was crap here anyway, it doesn't make any sense.

1\. Fifita wasn't let go from the Tigers. His manager was shopping him around from mid 2010\. The Club had no interest in matching the dollars on offer.

2\. Who cares what he thinks? He is a spoil brat trying to cause drama for the people who 'tried' to get him to focus on his football rather than his ego. He didn't like what he heard from some members of the playing group.

3\. Of course we have factions at the Tigers… We are a club that has 3 times the income than the Sharks and money brings opinions/factions!

4\. The only rift in the club was between fifita and the other players, if you asked me no one liked him !

This all goes way back to before the Ohara incident. The broken promise of keeping the junior roster together (Fulton to England for a year) humpty came in and made alot of changes.

Laffranchi, Harrison, richards, hodgson, halatau, prince. What do they have in common? They were all true professionals! And why did we loose them? 5 of them are married and harrison has a long term gf. I count only Ellis, lote, heighno married in the current squad fults aswell I think. They just want to work hard and play footy, got sick of the immature teammates and left.

If you live in the inner west you hear things and on the social side of things it's always negative. It's the "breakfast point crew" v the rest. I think that's part of the reason why Ellis is leaving.

I think he and Robbie try to set an example but it's in vein. When I see Robbie out he dosent drink, he is approachable and very humble. He dosent get the credit he deserves as a leader.

Funny if the Tiger playing group have been so fractured over the past couple of years they have made the semis and the Sharks who have such a tight group have been absolute shite.

These comments have Phil Rothfield's grubby fingerprints all over them. I fear that Andrew is starting to believe the press and as with Todd Carney before too long the wheels will start to come off.

Another young player who also like Carney is being used as a commodity who will be dropped when it all goes wrong. Very disappointing.

I was surprised that Ellis wanted out as I see him as a super professional athlete on and off the field and the type of fella that would see out his contract. So with that these problems could exsist with the constant denial from within usually means the opposite.

What has Andrew got to gain from these comments? Nothing.

I think we have to look at the likelihood of there being some truth here, he would know he was in the inner workings of the club.

As others have said we shouldn't bury our heads in the sand, if there is an issue and its affecting the on, and off field results it needs to be dealt with.

One would think that if the poor form continues on field this will eventually blow up (if true) and we will finally know the truth.

Bahahaha starting to believe the press? don't you think he might be talking from first hand experience? Denial knows no bounds

All these "experts" know there are big problems here " big egos" la la la

Where are your balls to back up these assertions or is it "well known in rugby league circles"

Any moron can try to cause problems with anonymous crap when things aren't going so well

How about names and facts - until then I will accept we are not going well but all you "experts" are full of crap

Look we have lost a few games and our season has not begun as we wanted and as the so called experts predicted. One thing that these experts hate is being proven wrong so they come up with theories and scenarios to help them deal with it.

Unfortunately you add to this the public and particularly the information hungry bloggers and forum warriors who crave as demand answers and new info each time they logon you have the biggest culture of disinformation since the Berlin Wall came down.

The team have lost and the fact they just are not playing well isn't good enough for most of you on here, there has to be a deeper reason. There are actually people on here suddenly believing a rumour started on this same topic.

"We can't wait. To play this one bloke who's taken most of the boys' spots in the team … can't wait," Fifita said. **"It's been a bit upsetting because all the boys are really tight.** Don't get me wrong, he's a really good forward. But I would love to have stayed at the Tigers.

June 2011

This guy makes himself look bad by lobbing bombs at his former team mates like he did this weekend.

I put no weight at all in anything he says.

Whatever I have nothing to prove, believe what you like. The fact that you dissmiss my theory of the quality player exodus after 05 is ok, it's a theory. And the fact a small proportion of players at the club are married would SUGGEST that it's not a family club. Culture has alot to do with success.
