The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013)

my favourite movie of all time right there

Yeah it's pretty good. Has some great scenery as well as he overcomes his own perceived limitations.

hits home for some of us middle aged blokes who remember the good old days

Just watched the new suicide squad.
@willow 👌🏼

Hated the first effort but this one was surprisingly enjoyable.
Good cast, good action and really GOOD music.

Even a sneaky song from Jim Caroll (Leo's character in Basketball Diaries) band.

Great movie.

Haven't watched it since it came out, but Bone Tomahawk is a very underrated Western/horror with Kurt Russell leading the way.

Watched Fast 9 - more stupidity.

The original one was a special movie and I enjoyed Tokyo drift but the rest of the franchise is a mash of nonsense, this one continues the trend. I was laughing at how stupid it was throughout. A few recognisable cameos.

Eddie Huang (Fox8s Fresh of the Boat) written and directed movie "Boogie"
Movie about a Chinese American "Kid" trying to make it in basketball. Starring rapper, Pop Smoke who was gunned down in recent times. Movie had really bad reviews and I see where they're coming from but I enjoyed it. Good music and cultural references in there too. Not for everyone.

More bad news.

👑

Well remembered by friends and colleagues since his passing, Norm Macdonald was part of the entertainment industry for over 35 years and has an endless list of credits to his name from Saturday Night Live, to Dirty Work, to The Norm Show, but one of his last roles was providing a voice to Yaphit, the gloopy shapeshifting blob who works as an engineer on The Orville in the Seth MacFarlane series of the same name. The actor who worked on the first two seasons of the show returned to the role for its upcoming third season, which wrapped filming in August. While creator MacFarlane posted a personal message on Twitter to mark Macdonald's death, it was confirmed that his voice will be heard in the new season as he completed his recordings before he passed away.

The sci-fi series will see its third season premiering on Hulu exclusively, and will provide Macdonald's fans with just one more burst of his comic timing, even if he isn't seen on screen. The 61 year old was remembered by MacFarlane who said, "To so many people in comedy, me included, there was nobody funnier than Norm MacDonald. You always hoped he would hang around after the work was done, just so you could hear his stories and get a laugh. So hilarious and so generous with his personality. I'm gonna miss him."

Not a film, but if you are in Sydney this is my favourite theatre to watch them: Hayden Orpheum @ Cremorne. They still have a working Wurlitzer Organ that gets played on occasions in the main auditorium. Can't wait to be able to go back.

Oh God.
Watched some movie on foxtel staring Tigers fan, Joe Mangianello or however you spelt it.

It was called Arch enemy.

Concept was cool but the movie was so stupid and boring. Highly recommend NEVER watching this.

More a movie than a film then?

Watched it months ago! Not bad but I was hoping for a little more - always a hard ask for a movie to match the book its based on.
