Final Position On Ladder

The way i see it if we win both games we finish 2nd and probably play the warriors at home - if we win 1 game we finish 4th and would probably play either manly or rorters at home ( bad move if we play rorters at sfs instaed of leichhardt) - if we lose both games we finish 5th and play either manly or rorters away ( manly at brooky would be a tough assignment)- a win this week against the storm sets up a mammoth game against titans for the 2nd spot.

I don't think the Warriors could beat us at our turf, especially without Michael Luck who'll likely be gone as well as some other poor bastard who'll get injured, since the Warriors have the worst luck (pardon the pun) with em.

I'm not too concerned who we will play at this stage but looking forward to the top 4 spot.So 1st things 1st would be beating Storm and then taking it from there .. Having said that if we win both games then we wont be worried who we will play as we will have the winning momentum and that will be a great positive..

I hope we avoid Manly, we always seem to struggle against them.

Wouldn't mind playing the Warriors, but it will not be easy whoever we play.

one win we are fourth, 2 wins we are second at the least depending on the Dragons results, zero wins we are sixth by my calculations. All in our hands, which is a damn good place to be.

With the Gold Coast having a easy game this week, they may rest half their team against us if they have a home semi already bottled up.
I have the feeling the Storm are going to come out firing on Sunday and it will be another hard fought close game

Why would they rest anybody, they will probably be playing for 2nd spot, unless we get beat this week.

x 2

Would rather Manly be knocked out by others.

Along with the Tigers, the Titans and Warriors are hitting good form at the right time and I would be most weary of these two, although I'm still not convinced that Gold Coast have the X-factor to win the premiership.

I dont think we have really p1ssed Storm off in the past and for that reason i feel like they might give us a chance this week.I'm not saying they will give the game away but i dont think they will put in a 110% effort to beat us.Against Manly they would be a different team all together..Storm have got noting to gain by defeating us.

Imagine this - Dragons lose, Titans win, we in this week. Putting us all on 24 points. Then we play the Titans next friday night…but the dragons dont play until sunday! So where does the NRL take the Minor premiership trophy???

There are just too many permutations to be worrying about final positions and who we might play at this stage - we could end up anywhere from 1st to 6th.

My sole focus at the moment is winning this weekend and taking another step up from last week. Really looking forward to Sunday. The Storm will have a point to prove and there is no love lost between us. Make no mistake, this will be a really tough match and huge test for us.

They'll give it to us at LO in the first week of the finals. 😛ray:

why say something like that about your own team…!!!! Atleast be positive .. instead of throwing the towel already.

Don't forget, it could well be a Raiders side with MASSIVE momentum. We have struggled against them in both teams, had a bit of an Easter Sunday miracle against them and then Leicchardt got us over the line, so 2nd could still be a very VERY tough match.

Meant the Minor Prem Trophy not the team we are playing.

We will flog them

What I like about the tigers is they are still playing well below their best, but week by week are getting better. They showed last week against Parra what they are capable of, and if they had taken their chances in the 1st half the score could have been anything. I get the feeling they are building up each week, where most of the other contenders are up and down week by week
