Speaking of Mitch, what a game. Really stood up didn't he.

Did you hear his half time interview with Freddy? He was so cocky. Freddy said something like your in an arm wrestle. And Moses basically dismissed him and said he come and burn them in the second half.
Then went missing.

That's funny I didn't hear him say that at all. I must've been watching another interview.

On a side note, how's all of us NSWelshmen barracking for a Queensland team to beat all the Sydney teams! There is no way it would happen the other way around, but I guess thats the difference between us and them. Queensland really is taking over the league now.

I doubt Titans and Cowboys fans have any particular fondness for the Broncos.

I guess the refs really didn't favour one side as has been suggested, seeing as the subject has been diverted to Moses… .. Pretty transparent.

I don't understand the refs comment. The refs were great. Moses was ordinary.

I find it interesting how Brooks cops it so much and yet I'm not convinced that he is miles behinds players like Norman and Moses. He is miles behind Morgan but so is Moses.

This isn't Origin. Idk about you, but I don"t base my hate for teams on what state they come from. I despise Parra, perhaps my most hated team. I was over the moon to see them get done. Moses having a shocker was the icing on the cake.

Theres high expectations of their coach and halfback next year. Theyve both been the recipients of very friendly media this year but they need to improve on this years results for that to remain.
Brad Arthur has a Brian Smith look about him.

Out of all finals games so far I thought last nights was the most fairly refereed. Last weeks Cowboys v Cronulla was the worst, I thought the Sharks were hard done by on several occasions, but I don't care cause I'm happy they're gone. :smiling_imp: Arthur has nothing to complain about from last night, but I can certainly see why Flanagan and Barrett were spewing.

Neither do I, but I bet most Queenslanders do.

That's their prerogative I guess. It doesn't reflect why the game is stronger in QLD.

What a crap game. It gets tiring watching refs only look at one team. Seems Cowboys are the love child this year because Thurston is missing.

Butthurt? Are you gonna offer your shoulder for Slimey to cry on?

I'm ok - I support the Tigers.
Maybe you should seek some help to get over your ongoing and immature hatred of Moses.

It's not immature at all, it's quite considered and reasonable. But it's not hatred, that's something else entirely, it's just a strong dislike. E.g. I hate racism but I dislike Slimey Moses.

But in fairness you also leap to Moses' defence often, I've been reading it for months. And you started off in this thread by insinuating that Parra was hard done by the refs - "looking at only one side". When people asked you how that was, to give examples, you started arguing semantics of what you'd said.

I therefore draw the conclusion you were somehow upset about how the game played out last night, and because you don't support Parra, I'm guessing it's a Moses thing, like all the other times.

So personally yeah I'm glad Parra out in straight sets and Moses did next to nothing to stop that happening. A nice reality check for a guy that seems to have an unjustifiedly large amount of self-confidence and lack of remorse for the decisions he's made this year.

One thing I'm greatful for is the fact I can relax watching the pre lims as the sides remaining I have no real overall issue with. Honestly don't know why I don't hate the Roosters when they have all the ingredients. In a way I hope they do win because if they do, it makes them less likely to win again for a couple of years, so Tedesco can stick it.

Hard to be critical of Parra this year from where we sit.

Really don't get this mindset. That because we follow a team who has struggled, somehow means we have no right of being critical of other teams. It does not mean we forget where our team is at.

I really like their coach and love listening to him speak… He has them going very well and has done for most of his tenure there
Would be interesting to see how he'd go at a club not as 'fortunate' as the chooks

Finishing in the top four by anyones standards is a good outcome especially when you have not played finals footy for eight years. If you are basing your criticism on their performance because you hate them and their recruit half - your own admission - then maybe you need to be a little more reflective about your judgement.

If JT doesn't bust a shoulder they aren't a top 4 side.

He went missing most of the game as far as gaining metres and taking the line on but otherwise he was very active. I was hoping he would score that try. The Cows certainly studied Moses' weakness of turning the ball back on the inside when attacking near the line and will often catch him out.

During the half time interview he did state he would let the big boys sought the fighting out.

People have short memories ,Eels last year cap cheats …board members bought before courts , I do not have a short memory they are CHEATS and deserve to be called the same!
What they achieved this year was on the back of cheating! Say what you like about what a wonderful season they have had ..IMO they are grubs and cheats of the highest order.
On Moses again last knight showed he is a show pony and a speed hump and when the going got tough he disappeared ,personally I am so glad he lreft our club as he was the Apitamy of all that was wrong at our club for far to long!

If Parra become weak, that's when he'll really be exposed for the fraud he is.

:crazy the amount you dont know is astonishing. this sport isnt for you.

So says the oracle.
Not a tad biased to NQ because you live there plus have a childish grudge against Moses?
I call it as I see it.

Do you honestly think the refs stiffed Parra? Honestly?

I never said the refs stiffed them.
I did however think the refs gave NQ the benefit of the doubt in all the niggly things.
Maybe they just can't help themselves.
Plus it was a pretty ordinary game apart from a few runaways.

Your kidding aren't you? King's late elbow should have been an 8 point try if ever there was one.

i cant get over the cowboys, i really can't.

in the final 5 minutes they had ample opportunity to slow the PTB down, lie around in the ruck, give away penalties etc but they just played the final 5 just like they played the first 75\. Paul Green must be so proud of them.

As i said before, every team in the comp has a lot to learn from the cowboys.

When I look at the Cowboys I think thats the sort of team we could be next year. A team made up of mainly solid harden FG footballers. They are not flashy, they are not grubby, they are just very professional. They prove you don't need flashy show ponies to be a good football team. Lots of application and discipline go a long way.

Love to see them knock the Chooks out and make the GF, but sadly I can not see it happening
