Finals series 2017 *Spoilers

Congrats to the Storm. Best side in the competition this year by a country mile. They were the only side in the comp who were truly consistent. And to think one so called rugby league expert/blowhard called them overrated this week. No wonder he sounded so bitter tonight. What a dummy.

Congrats to Cronk on a great career. Up there with Thurston and Joey.

Demolished the Cows..not much more can be said…the best side by a fair margin all year Won the Comp..

He does like to put a negative slant or cheapen teams victories. I don't like the Sharks at all. But after so many decades of trying to win the comp, then when they finally did. Gus called in a soft grand final. Just to cheapen their win.

Once again the rugby league god proves he is a piece of crap. The dogs always win out in rugby league. If u cheat, if u manipulate, if u are a low life…... you win in Rugby League. Its the reason i hate the game. The Tigers keep me involved in the game.....cant shake the Tigers....but the game is unmentionable.

I CANT BEAR WATCHING THE STORM LIE ALL OVER THE TACKLED PLAYER ANY LONGER, I HAVE SWITCHED IT
OFF

Cricket is on Fox Ch. 501..

Thanks, you will go a long way in lfe

Decided to take the grandkids yesterday and the only 4 tickets was in the Cowboys supporters area ..well what a great bunch of people we had a great night and there supporters even disappointed were well behaved and jovial,we so enjoyed there company we are going to go up to Townsville next season if the Tigers are playing up there.

You have to give Bellamy credit he turns average footballers into stars

It's easy to call him a fraud given the cap scandal, but he's won two premierships since then that's proven he's the real deal. The best coach of the modern era imo.

Yep

Yeh, it can't just be a fluke. He's a genuine star of the coaching ranks.

He's been there since 03\. The same year we appointed Sheens. Sheens was here 10 seasons amd by the end was totally stale. Look at Hasler at the Dogs, amd he was only there 6 years. Bellamy''s been there 15 seasons and isn't slowing down. No matter how good you are, sometimes you run out of ideas at a club you've been at for a long time. The fact Bellamy hasn't almost has him surpassing Bennett imo.

Storm deserved their win only losing 4 games in the season.

We will never see a spine like Slater, Cronk and Smith again.

IMO Storm won the 2007 and 2009 Grand Finals and they should not have been taken away from the players. I respect other people's opinions opposition to my comments but that's how I feel.

Manly and Easts since the 70's have been buying Grand Finals however they are allowed to live without the stigma. As a child I was devastated when Manly use to buy WS players and when Newtown bought Tommy and Graeme O'Grady I nearly gave the game away.

My biggest gripe is since the 2005 GF, WT have not played any more grand finals yet Cowboys have played 2 and likely to be one of the sides to beat in 2018 with Scott and JT back plus adding McLean.

I hope all the new players gell in the pre season and we are top 8 next year.

Thank you to all the Forum members for 2017\. love everyone's passion and comments.

Credit to Cronk for forgoing the sideshow that announcing his retirement would have caused. Didn't want it turning into a circus so he only announces that he's leaving. Even after the game last night, he still didn't want it to hijack the moment. Slater on the other hand, I think it's obvious he's going around again. I say Slater will retire next year, and Smith the year after that. I wonder if they planned on retiring at different times rather than all go out together as to not leave the club in a hole the following year.

At this early stage, the Cows are the team to beat imo.

Congratulations to both Richmond Tigers and the Melbourne Storm for winning their respective grand finals…Both teams played very well and it will be a big week in Melbourne this week..

Hoping the great Wests Tigers get to play in a grand final in the not to distant future..

I love a good party...

Such a great delight watching how clinical the Melbourne Storm is on and off the field. They are a professional organisation who have played in 7 GF over 14 Seasons and look to be delivering a next generation again with the likes of Cameron Munster; Curtis Scott; Brodie Croft; Joe Stimson; Jerome Hughes & Brandon Smith.

This story is a long way from over.

Congratulations!

Bellamy is one of the best coaches that i have seen along with Gibson and Ryan. The storm are a well oiled machine because he gets the best out of ordinary players he has excellent players in his side but its what he gets out of the others which is so impressive

The trouble is with the Storm is that by playing perfectly they make it a boring game. Where is the biff and agro and controversial ref decisions to get all emotional about either way. The last Eels game had the GF intensity that I like.
