Good win, but not a good game, deserved to lose it. Hopefully they don't get too cocky about it.

most teams are the same at this stage of the year, imo the storm played like crap there first 3 games as well

take that canberra for 89 for 06 2 overtime games, for the one we were robbed with a forward pass, for the game in the snow and for the 24-10 game in 07!!!

i think a few people are being a bit harsh - apparently this is the first time the raiders have lost a game at home since we beat them in rnd 20 last year

It's 2 points with alot of players under ilness and sickness clouds.

The first half was not good enough by any means but the Raiders coached used alot of interchanges to try and bury us and they ran out of steam. Saying that without Dugan we win by alot more IMO.

Better to take two points and have alot to work on than flog a side and maybe get a bit complacent

DP perhaps you are right. I will reserve my judgment until I watch the game. Regardless, a win is fantastic and gives me a boost for the week. Go the TIGERS. 3 from 4\. Been a long time since we started that well.

Yes, but if we gift Melbourne or St George an 18 point lead (22-4), they'll go on and give us a proper thrashing, not a 13+ win.

My only concern is our defence. Just can't afford to give so many points away, against better sides that will cripple us.

Good to see Farah stepping up with Benji a bit quieter today.

Winning a game with 68% completion. Massive.

Lawrence had a bit of a clanger by the sounds of it

Our defence is a concern. I think we also need to get more value from our number 7\. He wasnt very involved this week and that makes it two weeks in a row. I am a bit overly critical of the bloke (mainly to balance out the hysteria here) but an objective analysis says we need more from him.

We do need Moltzen to step up a little.

Marshall was contained today for the most part but Farah took up the slack. If both are controlled we need another prong to the fork

yep but hopefully by than we can put a full 80 together

Moltzen is not a concern in the slightest IMO. Marshall and Farah are our playmakers. He will never be a dominant half, he's a ballrunner.

He has the ability to playmake within the backrowers though. I would like to see it a bit more.

Not being critical but looking forward to when we face the better teams and his talents may be of real value from a ball playing standpoint

So Tim is allowed to be a passenger but Lui isnt :unamused: :unamused: We will be a much better side if Tim can fire up.

When has Lui not been a passenger?

Lui is not ready for FG yet. Another season in State Cup and then we will see.

I am not disputing that Hybrid. My whole point has been that the criticisms of Lui can equally be applied to Moltzen. Tim needs to step up badly IMHO.

Anyway, top win and I am a happy man.
