First Grade Live Game Thread vs Roosters

It's these type of efforts that frustrate the hell out of me. We should be able to play at this intensity all the time not just once every six weeks. We wouldn't be where we are on the ladder if that was the case. Anyway refreshing to be competitive especially against the roosters( who aren't doing themselves many favours) go the mighty tigers lets upset them

Usually not a fan of the biff, but someone needs to square up with O'Donnell. The guy has blatantly disrespected our team over the years…..maybe fulton can have another crack at his knee??? Just need Taps back to help him

I just watched luke O'donell starting a fight with Keithy and then cartwheeling Simona, How did he not get Sent or atleast binned.

Benji hasn't been that bad… All he did was miss a kick for touch... That was bad but other than that he's been quite good

So the chip kick was solid play? How about the hospital pass to Fulton? His kicking options have been poor, as has the room he is stealing off those he is passing to…

The errors are still there, difference is he is making the errors in a more dangerous position.

Hey, its something!

Marshall has been simply shocking. As per usual he and Anasta have been our Achilles heel. Just no structure and their options are hopeless. Kicking is hopeless as usual.

.

What does Benji have to do to get dropped, I would rather remember him for the good things his done rather than the crap his been dishing up.

Potter wake up.\ :bash :brick:

Disagree with the anti-benji sentiments. I reckon he's looking a lot more dangerous than in previous weeks. He's still making those rookie errors, and will probably keep doing that 2nd half but i could see him setting up or scoring a nice try.

I'm sorry mate, but he is our worst player by a country mile. Missing tackles, refuses to run the ball, throwing crap passes, failing to find touch….I could go on all night

I never said he was playing amazingly. Just that he looked dangerous in attack, like you I also thanked the league gods he's asked for a release after that failed touch finder. The kick to jennings was a bit of bad luck. If that had just skimmed over the top of his head for a try to nofo you'd be singing his praises. couple of inches in it really.

_Posted using RoarFEED 2013_[/ every times he has kicked the ball tonight it's been rubbish and he has thrown a few passes behind players too. He is easily the worst player on ground so far

I would give lote one more year he has showed heart and the team looks like they lift when he is there

Benji has made his usual crucial mistakes at awful times….but I can see an overall improvement in his general play.

Can I read that as "he is awful but just not dreadful"?

To be fair to Benji, if we just had two stock standard halves not doing anything to spark except the basics in there we'd still lose by a lot. So even though he's trying and failing, he might as well be. We're just overmatched in this one.

That's no excuse for his turd like performances all year.

Obviously a cup half full kind of bloke… lol.

Ayshford out for the match with that head wound. Must have been pretty heavy considering the stitching team docs are usually prepared to do mid game.

Spot on.

Instead of terrible errors when nothing is doing, we get terrible errors when we are looking good.
