Went for a fish this arvo guys had 7 luderick in my catcher's net and a bloody sea eagle swooped down and tried to steal it.

Fortunately I had it tied to a rock and the weight put it off and it dropped it never happened before the greedy turd.

It came back later and I tossed it some fish heads like I normally do there must have been 50 gulls hanging around while the cleaning was happening you never seen anything so happy to get a mouthful of fish guts lol.

When the gulls are ravenous my experience has been there is either not many fish around or not much fishing going on.

Not many fishing during the week where I go mate it's a walk to get to and if you haven't got spikes to slippery to reach, only for hoppers.

Some days you have the whole beach to yourself absolute bliss.

Hey Steve, I seen on tv QI, that on life boats they used to carry a container of vegetable oil “storm oil” and throw it onto the ocean to calm the sea. Apparently a teaspoon of vegetable oil will calm half an acre of ocean.
A teaspoon and half an acre? Fme.
Next time it’s a bit choppy out there?

Haven't been able to go fishing for weeks B all the rain and big swells has me climbing the walls, it's F killing me, weather looking better for next week hopefully then.

I was talking to the younger neighbour down the road, he long boards, well he did. Has been out in weeks, he said them same thing, cabin fever.
