I used to be all about powerlifting, building strength etc but I’ve gone away from that the last few months
1RM (85kg BW)
Squat 155kg
Deadlift 210kg
Bench 120kg
I broke my ankle in 3 places about august last year playing footy and it was a tough slog to even get remotely close to those numbers again
Been into running heaps lately though and still gym just more high rep stuff these days.
Clocking about 35-40km a week and hit 10km sub 38 mins the other day
Huge Numbers! Especially at that weight.
A lot of chalk, sniffing salts was used lol
Yeah it always feels good to lift heavy, any injury set back tho and you’re stuffed haha
Rather look good than be strong anyway.
Lee priest said u don't need to lift heavy to be in shape/big.. he said this as he shoulder pressed 4 plates.

Easier for shorter guys to gain muscle too
I was going to the gym with my mate who is literally 5 ft 7
Within a year he looked bigger than me haha (I’m 6”1)
