I used to be all about powerlifting, building strength etc but I’ve gone away from that the last few months

1RM (85kg BW)

Squat 155kg
Deadlift 210kg
Bench 120kg

I broke my ankle in 3 places about august last year playing footy and it was a tough slog to even get remotely close to those numbers again

Been into running heaps lately though and still gym just more high rep stuff these days.

Clocking about 35-40km a week and hit 10km sub 38 mins the other day

Huge Numbers! Especially at that weight.

A lot of chalk, sniffing salts was used lol

Yeah it always feels good to lift heavy, any injury set back tho and you’re stuffed haha

Rather look good than be strong anyway.
Lee priest said u don't need to lift heavy to be in shape/big.. he said this as he shoulder pressed 4 plates.

He’s an animal ??

Yeah, see him around sometimes.
He's short as.
Interesting guy tho.

Easier for short people to gain muscle too, I hate it.

I used to train at the same gym as Volkanovski, pound for pound strongest person I’ve seen in flesh

Impressive numbers.

I did 140kg deadlifts for reps not long ago and felt like the blood vessels in my head were about to explode.

Yeah I never liked doing deadlifts for reps, I liked being able to walk the next few days too much ?

Lately I’ve been doing more swim sessions than gym sessions.
Each morning I head down the the pool at 6am. Swim 1K ,get changed and onto the bus to the city.
It’s been helping me get through busy days and long hours in the office.
Feel really good during the day. I don’t think i could get through work without doing some exercise in the morning.

That's amazing mate.
I've been thinking about doing this myself.

I grew up doing competitive swimming and surf life saving. Swimming is great, low impact fat burning cardio.

So many pools around my area too.
I'm tempted.

Self harming today in the gym after that wickedly bad loss.

Biceps x Triceps super set arm day.
Blowing out these Gallen bashes.

Left arm, hospital
Right arm, grave yard

The choice is yours, Paul.

Been at the diet for a few weeks now and throughly enjoying it and the results its jelped bring...
Taking everything slow not rushing to lose crazy amounts ... happy with the pace im at atm
