Fitness????

They're fit, just no fight in them

They cant be fit… they are in the games right till the 30 min mark, then fall away dramatically for the remainder of the game... this is the only thing that is consistent with this team.

Its also consistently the time we take Mcwillrick off yet we keep doing it. Unfit is an understatement. Plenty of teams go down to 2 or even 1 bench player and they keep going.

They need to blood Felise or Tatola. Get some more size on the bench. Except for injury, get them playing 25 mins to ease them into first grade.

Are they getting burnt with too much warm up, I was at the Penrith game and I thought that they got flogged in the warm up.

Yep moses was good.

Just the forwards that seem to struggle.

We need ET too play 80 minutes.

Put him on a edge so he doesnt do as much work so he can go the full game.

ET was guilty in both of their length of the field tries. Im a ET fan but him playing 80 is not the solution.

One of our biggest issues is that Elijah Taylor cant play 50 minutes let alone 80\. He's out on his feet after 20 minutes every week since he joined us. Love what he brings when he's fresh but his fitness is a myth.

First 30 has been great… after that we look like an A Grade side who loves a few beers and a meat pie. Amount of times I saw Nofa, MCK, Naiqama on their haunches in the last 10 of the first half and whole second half was shocking.

Makes you think what sort of fitness they did in the pre season, we have no aerobic fitness to last 80\. We had all the ball, field position and penalties in the first half and we still looked dead in the water. It's not good enough for a professional team who's job is to play an 80 minute game, to look dead after 30 each week.

Tim Grant needs to be shown the door. That's atleast twice he has been caught being fatigued in the middle which has lead to game changing tries. Horrendous player.

Ava needs to get more game time. Always plays well

I don't agree regarding it just being the forwarda. Chee Kam, Suli and not surprisingly Idris have all looked off the pace of 80min players this year.

Grant and sue being asked to do too many mins. I don't know why we don't have Aloiai back out on the edge and sue in the prop rotation.

These two players when fit playing from the bench would make a huge change to the team's overall stamina and resulting enthusiasm. Would also be interesting if Paseka is eased into the bench in a couple of months time. These three players look at this stage "must keeps" for 2018.

Whoever was responsible for conditioning during the preseason should hang their head in shame. The last three games have shown us to run out of puff at the 30min mark, and we've dominated possession in each of those games up to that point. It stands out more than anything.

The only thing I had on my mind the whole second half was our conditioning/fitness. Or complete lack of it.

For a team in the NRL we look well below the required standard for a 3rd straight week.

There was zero talk out there in the 2nd half, everyone was spent. And this was after we had 70% of the ball in the first half.

Even though today it didn't blow out it was embarrassing how gassed we were int he 2nd half.

Our attack is also awful this year as we appear to run out of legs after 30 minutes.

If I was Cleary watching that today I might be asking to join in 2018, because we look like shot ducks in 2017.

Mentally unfit for sure .

Always have been, yet no one seems to ever address it. Their self belief is extremely fragile and always has been. They can hold it for a while in a match, when everything is going their way, but as soon as the going gets tough, they turn to water. You can count on one hand, the number of times they have actually held onto their self belief for a full game in the past 5 or so years. And every player that has joined us during this time has fallen into the same fragile mental state, but let's continue to ignore it :unamused:

It's the generation mate … Soft in the head !
Unfortunately we've ended up with the worst of that generation when it comes to NRL players .
