Fitness?

At half time we had only 5 tackles in Saint's 20 and scored twice! That shows how well the boys played. There were some bad calls and no calls but at the end of the day I can't complain. We had a great season and I can't wait for next year's kick off. We'll be there in September again and will have learned a lot. I wonder about the overall team's fitness. We do look like we struggle at the back end. The last few games we got off to a flying start, particularly in defense but run out of puff.

Yeah, what Folkes is doing as strength and conditioning manager must be working, they team's fitness was second to none this year, the way we backed up after an 100 minute game against the Roosters to beat the Raiders up there in Canberra showed how fit we are as a playing group. Last night, our fitness was on par with St George's and they'd just had a week off!

blokes were playing with needles too, no? also the same guys getting needled weren't training during the week. massive effort over the last few months imo
