Folau - valued at $400K - go for it !

Israel Folau, hopeful of returning to the NRL and expected to fit it in Parramatta has been valued at $400k by Ian Schuburt.

All previous expectations had him at around the $1m mark.

At this price I reckon he is a bargain and would love the WT's to make room to fit him in under the cap.

If that meant the departure of a centre and one or two other players I would be all for it.

Initially the publicity generated would be of immense value to the WT's and once he got his NRL body back he would become our top centre as he's even better that Rowdy.

He would provide great penetration and thrust to our backline which we have been lacking over the last year or so.

On his previous value he was no chance but now that Schuburt has valued him at $400K I say go for him, he;d be a bargain !.

Parra now look to be sliding out of the picture and Souths are cominng into the frame, we should too !

Please sign with eels! and please NRL allow them to go over the cap by 400k this year and they must be under by 400k next year so they cant get Farah.

Poor value for money in my opinion. Could take him a while to get back to his form before he left. We have bigger priorities than Folau.

We have good young kids coming out of the system in droves. Save the money for Farah and maybe a top class forward. Big Izzy will take time and its always a massive gamble that he will get back to where he was and lets face it, he is a outside back

investment would be good from a media perspective as he's a good story.. and he's going to get better and to be fair with the exception of nofo and simona our centre talent coming through isn't exceptional as our wing/halves talent..

I'd do it for 400k. he would bring in fans and media/sponsors. would be good

In reality he will be paid much more

Folau a bargain at $400k wow I don't think so… For me he needs to show he still has it... $300 max for 2013 then reassess his value based on his 2013 form

But he was on that when he signed with the Broncos

He will want more ,especially seeing that there will be salary cap increases

With the new tackling ie no shoulder charge rule..I reckon Izzy will score 20+ tries in 2013\. He will be worth every cent. I would not hesitate!!!

400K is a bargain, hell, give him 500K, well worth it. Koro and Izzi on the wings, Magic. Both are worth at least a try a game. Blistering speed and huge talent roaming down the wings, i can see it know.

good player, wont take time to set in at NRL again. i'd play him at wing, but we got enough options.. it would be a stupid buy, much like me buying stuff online atm.. dont really need it, but hey it's a bargain sorta stuff
