First of all Sydney kebabs looks like they've given up.

If the chicken is that small it's a sign the chicken is old. Good places are too busy to let it rotate that small.... next.

New Star fair enough I wouldn't just get a Kebab at new star they do authentic turkish dishes like Adana plate, Doner plates, iskandar much better than just a Kebab. They do a nice side of rice, greak salad, dips and bread with plate dishes.

No loss mate ive had them many times before i used to live in the area. The kebab house on Rawson rd i dont think was there when i lived in the area i need a local on the ground to confirm the validity of the claims about Auburn Kebab house @WesternSuburbsBoy please confirm.
10 years ago everyone carried cash even in Auburn where the fear of being rolled was real but these days not having a machine to tap is rubbish.

On the Central coast now but grew up in Berala, left in 2010 bounced around a bit in between lived in Picnic point for 6 yrs then moved back to Berala for 6 months in 2016 to do up and sell my townhouse. Then Lived in Cabarita for another 6 months then up here.

Yeh mate they’re alright, definitely not as good as new star although I think the shop next to it M brothers is super underrated. I go there sometimes when i’m not bothered waiting at new star & or I’m ordering off Uber Eats & they make one just as good !!!

The pace the slowness of things is hard to get used to and you dont have access to as much services like you do in Sydney. Dr's Gp's are a big issue not as many about and sometimes it can take a week or two to get an appointment. Also not as much to do or should i say theres different things to do and eating out isnt as good. For instance a kebab to a coastie is not a kebab to me 😂
Probably one of the better ways to describe things as my Mrs does she thinks its like Sydney but 10-15 years ago, really its an extended suburb of Syd i dont mind living here but i also didnt mind living in Sydney.

used to be called merhaba or something similar yeah thats where i went the other week a few shops down towards the station.

High turnover and the chicken kebabs are pretty good.
 
Kebabs are good but gyros are next level. I used to live close to a Zeus, I'd get the lamb tzimmy classic w/ chips, tzatziki, tomato, onion, parsley, paprika. Sensational!
