I think it's a terrible show, haven't watched it for years! Keep flicking it back on now and then hoping it's changed and it never has.

Now, the League Lounge. That is a brilliant show. Especially that Renee Gartner :astonished:

By the sound of it, thats been given the flick

No way. If it has, rediculous call. Best footy show and cast that I've seen in a while.

eh I didn't realy care for it. Can't stand that James Matheson. Although anything is better then that League tactics show that was on a couple yrs back that Andy Raymond hosted. What a load of crap that was. I'm probably being bias though as i can't stand Raymond

Yeh league lounge has gone….and the One HD show with Ricky Stuart is gone too....the Game Plan with Blocker & the chubster - forget his name - is still on tho

TFS is good in that their actual footy content is on first, usually 30 mins or so...followed by the 'entertainment'....i watch the first bit

Shame about the Footy Show with Ricky Stuart "One week at a Time " I think it was called

Barring Ricky Stuart it wasn't too bad

Prefer it over the Footy Show any day of the week

Agree happy, one week at a time was a good show. Was good to tune in and get a good wrap up of the round of footy.

Ricky needed to realise that it wasn't called 'the ricky stuart show' and he wasnt getting paid per word. Someone forgot to tell ricky that "one week at a time" was the name of the show, not how long he had to make his answers/questions/opinions.

Gee…..
I'd hate to hear about a program you _didnt_ like.

Something is needed to get the footy show back where it belongs. I don't watch the AFL footy show but many people have told me they do and how good it is. Maybe Ch9 in sydney can get some pointers from them. I enjoyed watching the two rugby league shows on HD so if they are gone then that is hard to fathom.

roll My sister lives in victoria and rings me to see if anything is worth watching on the Footy show nrl. she always blabs on about the afl footy show, how funny it is, how informative it is, how it has a bit of something for everyone. She is a panthers supporter so the nrl footy show hardly has anything on there for her so she just goes to bed plus it's on down there real late. We here in NSW are just not as fanatical as those south of the border. seen something funny on the news this week, they were asking viewers what the best thing about living in sydney was? one viewers response was THE DISTANCE FROM MELBOURNE. ha, ha.

Ah, The Footy Show! It's never been a serious show, it is what it is! Most of it is just stupid. That said, I'll watch any show that has Benji on it!

I reckon they could easily knock off the format from the AFL show and it would be miles better than it's current format

whats wrong with the way that rex mossop did it. why dont they go back to their roots. now thats a vintage football show.

Too right AHX used to enjoy watching the late Rex Mossop and co on Controversy Corner. I noticed thyey tried to bring a watered down version of it back to the footy show a few years ago and had Rex on but I was embarrassed by the way fatty treated him. Needless to say Matty Johns also tried to bring it back but not a patch on Rex (RIP).

Of course Matty Johns version had nothing on it when you have peanuts like Paul Kent on the panel.

This is really sad, I Liked Ricky He is passionate and honest,

We could do more with TV like that.

My intel on the upcoming Footy Show is that there is going to be a new co-host - and he is not a ex-footy player. He has not yet agreed to the offer from 9, but has until the first episode basically to agree.

Also, Vautin will announce that this year is his last year.
