A new rumour column has surfaced on sportal.com has a snippet on Robbie being chased by Souths and Lote's future too.

Seems more like a plant by Souths to put a rocket under Isaac Luke than anything else. Can't see Souths having the cash to pay overs like Parra would so unless Farah wants out I don't see it happening.
 
Souths would offer a real chance of a grand final win,I have my doubts Parra can offer that and without being to pessimistic I think we are a few years away from being serious contenders
 
I'm sure Wally was only reading from a script…

Not sure why Souths would offer big money for Farah considering the depth they have?

Depends, Souths are now "profitable" but only because Rusty and PHAC have deferred their millions of dollars loan repayment the club owes them.

Also Souths fans reckon Rusty has decided not to sell his share of the club….probably because nobody wanted to buy it.

The premiership season I believe they are referring to.
 
Isaac Luke is one of the best running hookers in the game.
Nathan Peats is nothing to laugh at either.

If I was a club in the market for a hooker, I'd be looking @ Jake Friend, good pick up.
And Mortimer is going to be a bench hooker this year as well, he might be looking for an NRL start somewhere... Doesn't go too bad at hooker from what I've seen in the trials and whatnot.

Suggesting Crocker can play at hooker, buying Jake Friend to replace Farah and saying Smith is overrated really devalues your post. Is Cam Smith on the hate list now Luke Burt has retired?

Any team Smith plays for grows a leg. If Farah left tomorrow, I'd be prepared for the Tigers to throw the kitchen sink at Smith if he were available.
 
I would love for us to re-sign Robbie but if he was to leave, I wouldn't think any different of him & would always hold him in high regard as one of the most competitive & talented players to play for WT's.
 
A mate of a mate that is in the know at the Panthers allegedly, reckons Panthers will make a play for Robbie and that they are a white hot chance at signing Thurston.
I hope it's all rumor.

Yeah Eddie Farah is there. I just can't see where Souths get the money from tbh.

I reckon its more of a wishlist suggestion then an actual target.
