Forum's relationship with the club

Hi

I just read on a locked thread that interested me**'I kid you not, the club checks this forum on a daily basis and we WILL NOT jepoardise our relationship with the club.**.

I was wondering what this relationship is and how it benefits both forum and club members?

I may be incorrect, but the club doesn't appear to acknowledge the existance of the westigersforum.com. It would be nice for them to perhaps to do a release especially for the forum or come out and dispell some of the strange and weirs rumours that seem to envelope us.

I know that the club has its own website but that seems to be a marketing or commercial tool that does not really cater for two way communication.

Given that this is a well moderated forum, it seems a little strange that the club only monitors the forum and does not actively participate. It would seem to me that this is one of the many vehicles avilable to them to better interact with fans and members and much better than letting players loose on their own twitter accounts without controls.

Anyway - just wanted some clarification. Perhaps we could even generate some ideas that the forum lords could present to the club? I think that if we were getting players and officals participating it would certainly add both to the credibility and interest in the forum.

Thanks in advance

Again, not going to get into this discussion. The forum is set up to give Tigers fans a place to discuss the team and various other rugby league and non rugby league related topics. But please remember at the end of the day this forum is not a democracy and some things we will not discuss.

Thanks for the question coopy

The relationship is one that is improving all the time.
Concord does appreciate the fans here, I can assure you of that. Don't think that they ignore what you post or disregard your opinions; they value what people genuinely have to say here even if it's mixed in with the odd bit of dribble
