Our forwards and backs are capable of beating all the tops sides.....consistancy is a term that is being bashed around too much, it's a cop out. What we need is better techniques in getting over the advantage line and post contact meters. Our forwards run too upright because that's how they are coached these days to get offloads and avoid the wrestle. They need to run hard at gaps and change angles with decoys. Get you body height slightly lower and drive those legs, leg drive in our games are nearly non existent. Get a top rugby coach in an he can train you how to do it. Chris Lawrence is successful at it but not big enough.

We also probably start the year with the worst hooker in the competition (or bottom 2-3 at least). We probably are not the worst pack, but we are certainly at the lower end. Us, Knights, Bulldogs and Warriors are the bottom four in my opinion, but I am not sure in what order.

Forwards got WT into reasonable field position throughout last season, holding their own on most occasions and the stats back my eyes up, so they were not the problem. Finishing off and scoring from that base was the issue and that comes down to lack of impact and pace out wide for mine.

That has been somewhat addressed with the acquisition of the Leilua brothers, but a bit more speed would not go astray.

Agree. His hole running and combination with Brooks is good on the left. However I am still suspect of Garner’s defence. I think he was dropped because of his defence (Or injury) last season then came back better in the last third of season. Hopefully he continues to improve

Where did he go? . I know his dad pasted away and he needed time away at one point. Maybe he wasn’t dropped but missed a lot of games and came back onto the bench for two games then made the starting side again.

No he wasn't.

Where did he go? . I know his dad pasted away and he needed time away at one point. Maybe he wasn’t dropped but missed a lot of games and came back onto the bench for two games then made the starting side again.

Without dismissing the obvious effects of his loss that probably also kept him out of the top grade, defence would have been a major contributor without doubt and likely the reason for his demotion.

You'r probably right, but when we did a number on the Saints at the back end of last season, I thought Lucy was their best forward - he certainly had more impact than Frizell (who let Benji in for a simple try).
