FOUNDATION CUP TICKETS NOW ON SALE
Monday, 1 February 2010

Wests Tigers supporters can now purchase their tickets for the fourth annual Foundation Cup match against the Sydney Roosters on Sunday, February 21.

Supporters had the chance to meet eight of the Wests Tigers players at the annual Foundation Cup Fan Day on Saturday, January 30, as part of the build up to the match.

Led by captain Robbie Farah, supporters had the chance to get autographs and have photos with Keith Galloway, Tim Moltzen, Blake Ayshford, Robert Lui, Geoff Daniela, Andrew Fifita and Daniel Fitzhenry.

Many excitable youngsters also enjoyed the chance to play touch footy with the players in a skills session run by ARL Development officers. Children also had the chance to have their photo taken with the Wests Tigers mascot and the Foundation Cup trophy.

The fourth annual Foundation Cup will be the only time Wests Tigers and the Sydney Roosters will play a trial match in Sydney before the NRL season kicks-off.

Gates for the Foundation Cup open at 3.45pm with the Toyota Cup U20s trial starting at 4pm. The Foundation Cup starts at 6pm.

Wests Tigers supporters can secure Foundation Cup tickets in advance by becoming a 2010 Member. To become a member, call Wests Tigers Membership on (02) 8741 3300.

Makes me wonder why I bother to renew early, I couldve saved upwards of 30/40 bucks had I waited depending on how mant mates my kid brings.

There will be many many more discounts like last year where those arent members are offered even cheaper deals than those purchase early

Yeah Buckets…I waited this year......think they did something similar last year but not 1 Adult 4 kids for 20 bucks....that's awesome value...

Foundation Cup tickets should be included with Membership IMO.....it's a trial after all.....

There was one or two other things i cant quite recall last year that was more beneficial to non members.
Maybe the need to get together an liase with the ticketing agencies they use a bit better.

I'll definitely be going along to this one, be nice if the Tigers could topple the Roosters for a change too.

How much is a ticket for the Foundation Cup match for non members? Surely it wouldn't cost more than $20 for a trial game.

It's the same has been since inception…..Only advantage you have as a member is you can pre-order them when you pay for your membership.........

Otherwise....Ticketek.........

Obviously not

I want to go to the Foundation Cup with about 5 mates and was wondering if it's worth pre-booking or just turning up on game day….what do you guys reckon?

Personally I will just pick it up on game day. I was going to get one with my season ticket but changed my mind.

My reasoning is that

a) As much as I think I will be free and plan to be free on that Sunday this time of year you just never know.

b) I decided to wait and see the side named. If it is a fringe side than I won't bother.

c) Tickets are not a rare commodity and there are no bad seats in the inner bowl of the SFS
