What the hell is it with Fox commentary team. Hardly a word of praise for the team's efforts today and the scale of their victory was totally underplayed. Instead we have to listen to Ennis and co continually referring to Brisbane's mistakes/ Payne Hass courage! / that the so called "better team for most of the match" couldn't get it done. Spare me please. Hardly a word of congratulations for a team which has really struggled to make head way this season. It's clear to me that today's match didn't at all go to script for Fox ( and Channel 9 for that matter ) and no amount of referee interjections in favour of the Broncos could help overcome their incompetence.
The media bias against Wests Tigers was clearly on display today and I can only imagine what would be the commentary led by Ennis/Cronk/Anasta et al had the final scoreline been Wests Tigers 24 Brisbane Broncos 42 !!!!!
Congratulations boys on a hard earned and well deserved win. But it is only small step needed towards a bigger effort next week V Manly.
