The recent "scoop" by Hooper concerning Luke Brooks and Canberra ( the so-called double swap offer ) has been exposed as total fabrication and a sham story unworthy of the title of sports journalism. In short it was utter garbage invented and confected from a Rothfield rumour the previous day. I don't care which team Hooper professes to support... what a joke! His approach to his work as journalist lacks any basic credibility in my eyes or any sense of impartiality in dealing with issues.

Hooper has an issue with Justin Pascoe and is using every media avenue he can to bad mouth him. It is clear that Hooper is under instruction from someone to sully Pascoe's name and he is doing his best. Maybe its hair-envy, don't know.

Surely you're not serious. Will give you the benefit of the doubt that I've misunderstood your post and at the end of the day, everyone has an opinion and yours is just as valuable as mine.

But to suggest most of the high profil journo's (and I use the word journos because it always gets a laugh) like Rothfield, Hooper and the like - to even hint they are reporting facts and not trying to whip up a frenzy to keep their name and the story on the back page is just not accurate.

Like him or hate him, Pascoe has done many good things for WT. He has also made mistakes, and has also served a suspension of 6mths early on, but Hoopers constant bitching and whinging about him is more than just 'what he sees'.

I was at the Broncos game. Both teams were terrible early and our favouriate ref Sutton was clearly trying to ensure the home team remained in the game. But come the second half, something clicked and WT bashed them - yes BASHED them 32-6 or something. To report anything otherwise is just not accurate.

No , its not an insane argument when you see week after week, these journos that feature on Fox (Kent excepted), put crap on our club. When other clubs are doing no better, and some far worse. They actually spend more time discussing the Tigers each week, than any other subject, and we are definately not in the 8, or comming last.
