Fox Sports Scoop

Well Woods puts out the story that he wants to stay and work with Ivan. He goes to the Dogs anyway but we all still love him because he really wanted to stay. Spin. Suck it up Woods. Can't afford you now anyway.

Woods has been going great. Amazing when he doesnt talk to the media. If he stayed our Pack would be pretty much a top 8 pack.

Well if it is Woodsy maybe he was smart enough to have a get out clause if Dessy isn't coaching. Lol what am I thinking - its Woodsy!!!

This morning on BSB a Masoud said it was a current Origin player, who signed with another club this year but now has got cold feet and wants to stay at his current club, his club was publically unhappy about it when he signed with the other club but his 10 day cooling off period was over. That the coach of the new club he is going to is an experienced operator who is tough and very unlikely to let him go back.

To be honest it sounded like Woodsy

And i heard it mentioned on Talkin Sport and it was mentioned as a Prop forward. .. Definitely Woodsy but its all a bit late now unless he wants to take a pay cut.

I hate speculating to threads like these, but no one has mentioned Leilua. Was caught on camera blowing up deluxe at Blake Austin when they played the Broncos after Austin was his usual greedy self bombing a try by being a hog. There have been reports since that there are issues between the two of them.

A mate told me last weekend that he heard BJ and Ricky can't even make eye contact they hare each other so much. Bj invited Ricky to meet him behind the grandstand, but of course it could be total BS but would explain why the raiders are on struggle street. Ricky is a prickly sort of bloke that usually has one good year at club before the cracks start to open up, than the place crumbles

Wow, just wow. Wants a hero's send off from the LO faithful. All is forgiven. Pass the hankie. Maybe he'll come back when he finishes at the Dogs. Well, we actually do need another prop for next year.

Reading the article posted today, there's enough evidence to suggest he's having regrets. Our club is really settled ATM. We've assembled a strong squad for 2018 and there's no reason why we won't be giving the 8 a real shake. Counter that with the Dogs who appear to be on the decline and may soon be looking for a coach. And he says he doesn't care how the Dogs go this year. If I was him I probably would because he runs the risk of looking like an even bigger idiot then he already is if Des gets sacked.

His whole attitude has seemed to be more positive lately toward the club especially his talk on the field.

Yesterday Woods was accused of being ready to dump on the club as soon as the opportunity arises. Today he is quoted as having nothing but good things to say about the future of the club and where it is headed.
Hard to know who to believe the mob that know what Woods is really thinking or direct quotes from the man himself. I get that many are filthy at him but it seems that may also be clouding your judgement a little.

I've always wondered why the Dogs were interested in Woodsy at all. Not as though they haven't got a reasonably competitive pack already. Maybe what they really wanted was Teddy and they were prepared to offer Woodsy a deal paying overs just to get Teddy and then got stuck with the big man when Teddy decided to go with the Chooks! If they are experiencing the kind of cap squeeze rumoured, maybe they will let him stay at WT to relieve some of the pressure IF Woodsy wants to stay. So far all Woodsy is saying is that he's still off to the Dogs end of this season.

I wouldn't put any money on it mate. After this season, I don't believe we'll ever see Woodsy in Tigers colours again. It's a shame cos, I believe we could have had something really special with him in the pack next year. We're assembling a good squad for next season but, without another couple of forwards, we won't be going anywhere fast.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him stay. Des will probably be gone by years end and the last thing they need is another $1m front rower. Would be a good result for the Dogs and for us.

More than likely not. I hope he does though.
