Just watched the game again on IQ - and I need to ask the question - who is the low mutt who was chief caller for our game & why does he try to put crap on us at every opportunity?????

He never had a clue - but found time to editorialise on the quality of our game/players!!!!

I don't usually watch Foxtel games but I streamed this one last night.
All I have to say is, wow.. worst commentary ever.
I ended up putting it on mute and listening to some Tupac whilst watching.
Call me crazy but I prefer Sterlo/Gus/Rabbits/Fittler - hate Andrew Johns voice though.
And stupid Anasta as sideline commentator… No thanks Foxtel.

Belcher and co always bag the Tigers as if we shoul dbe winning every game 50 - 0 and as such each win is lucky and every mistake is just blown out of proportion.

I thinks its a joke how current players are involved in calling games! It's pathetic, could you imagine Steven Gerrard calling an EPL game?

While I agree having a current player as the sideline commentator is a joke, he did a bloody good job if you ask me.

Much better than most of the other blokes on there, especially Bumbling Brett Kimmorly.

I thought the commentary was non remarkable.

You mind if i ask where you streamed the game from Demps?
i dont have foxtel anymore, tried to find a decent stream of the game but could only get rubbish 5 second bursts of audio and visual of the game followed by 10 minutes of frozen video :frowning:

could be a while until i get fox sports back on, picked a bad time of the year to move, i actually find myself wishing for more tigers games on ch9 now .

yeah i had trouble working that one out ….seems neither side would let him in the sheds at halftime anyway ....imo all the commentators suck these days ,,,, they think they have to tell us the history of the game and the rules .... most avid fans have a gyst of the game.....its simple though ,,, turn your volumn down on your tv .....

I don't mind the Foxtel calls of the games…. Lozza Daley is the standout bad one of the group, continuously contradicting himself. I like their panel - Ryan is a decent guy to listen to, and the other boys have all been there done that, so its not like they are talking out their asses.

Worst commentary ever - listen to the ABC radio call of a game in New Zealand, in particularly when the warriors play the tigers over there.... they get the NZ boys to call the game and they are horrendously one eyed.

Some what on topic, I hate the grand stand's commentary too.
Ch9 is the go, for me personally.
Sterlo has the facts and I love the mates banter between Gus/Rabbits/Vossy/Fatty
