only that iosefa will travel as 18th man….

That was when the teams came out…...game on Monday..if Liam cant play Im sure we will carry another backrower.....mebbe Jared Farlow or Akoule??

this could be a blessing in disguise for us. i love fulton but i just dont think he has it anymore. i think move pettybourne into 11 (think he played there for bunnies) and then Sauaso Sue or Joel Luani to the bench. But please no ioseffa

anasta back to backrow.. miller to half. easiest solution out

heh, yep, we still go in with a decent enough pack, a good bench and an actual halfback

If we carry Iosefa, I dont see the big deal… Its not like we will be taking him up there as a back-up hooker. He has enough size to be ok, his defence isnt bad, and he has good enough hands. He doesnt skirt from contact, so as long as he is on the bench to play second row and has a dig I dont see the harm. If he rides the pine all game and is there for the sake of making up numbers then we have dramas.

Being a hooker and defending in the middle isnt too far removed from what would be expected from him replacing Fulton, and he should have the gas tank to suit as well.

Most of the Forum is in agrement that Ansata is not worth a cracker as a backrower. Therefore a very backward step to bring him back there. Wests Tigers now need to blood some good young passionate forwards (certainly not Iosfa if Farah is playing)not recycle someone back into a position he can't (and doesn't want) to play in.

yeah… but Melbourne is one hell of a team to blood someone against. Cronk is way too astute a footballer to not break a kids will if he sniffs a weakness.

Don't like all the hate that iosefa is getting, he had a hard time filing in for robbie bloody farah! Gave away a few penalties, happens to the best of them. He played more than 5 games last year and wasn't atrocious at Hooker. He is alright, just like Fulton!

Except Fulton will tackle himself to a standstill, where Iosefa, tackles more like a turnstyle.

Masada Iosefa is a good player. He is being crucified by people here on the basis of one result…Manly 26 - 0\. I trust the knowledge of the coaching team over anything posted here. If he's in the squad, good on him. I wish him well and expect he will do a good job.

Have u watched him all the other NRL games he's played? Have u watched him in State cup? Besides the odd great play that his talent can come up with he generally dishes up absolute garbage.

Oh dear God no. Not Ioseffa

X 10,000,0000,00000,0000000000000000…..infinity.

My thoughts exactly. Iosefa will hand Melbourne the game on a silver platter, silver I tell you 😱pen_mouth:

I have visions of Masada costing Balmain a try in last years Grand Final when he tried to score from dummy half when any one of half a dozen players could have scored if he passed the ball, a selfish player.
