Fulton out - 1 Month

Sorry but Fulton being out really doesn't concern me. As much as a good defender as he is, he offers nothing in attack. If Paterson was given the opportunity to play first grade week in week out, he would show he is a much better all round player than Fulton.

That's a blow to lose Fulton. We're really in a spot of bother now. That Roosters side has so much rep football experience. They will sense we're there for the taking. Can only hope Robbie does return because his presence will lift the side and improve our attack.

It's a huge blow. I still can't believe how underrated he is on here by some. As for us being there for the taking, I think that's the understatement of the year. If it's not bad enough with our injuries, there's been quite a few articles about different players from the roosters and their form slumps this week. I really feel we are in for a long night

Agree. We always play better when Fulton is in the team. A replacement could be Farlow. Tackles all day, and has some ball playing. Going to be hard without two of our best defenders (Farah and Fulton).

buchanan replacing fulton.

Fulton is suffering as all ageing players do the body can't take or can't heal quickly enough .I have always rated Liam but for the life of me cannot understand why he was resigned, the off field players section will be his constant companion from now on.

Below standard sub par training facilities….theres no other explanation

I can only assume that is not a serious post.

Very serious
The club is broke and in some cases 10 years behind other clubs in terms of facilities

Yeah i can see how our training facilities have contributed to Lawrence's dislocated hip, Farrah's elbow, Tuaki's ankle, Simon Dwyer's neck./shoulder.

The CEO has said more than once that the facilities are very poor. They are probably one of the reasons the club is looking to move training grounds as this would be far cheaper i suspect.

Also it wouldnt help recruitment when they're tossing us up and lets say the dogs and roosters who have premium facilities.

Do we need to get Sheens in to re-arrange the gym equipment again? Obviously the rowing machine is too close to the toilets, and it's ruining the feng shui.

Did you ever stop and think with state of the art facilities, up to date medical and rehab structures along with current computer science related to training strength & conditioning & rehab….that those injuries may not have been as severe???

Definitely not. The injuries would have been just the same. You don't need state of the art facilities to have players that are fit and raring to go.

Has the actual injury for Liam being out for 1 month been released ?

I 'm tending to read between the lines here and the training/medical staff are giving him more time to get over the " head knocks" he has already endured this season.

I suspect they NRL are watching him like a hawk, each time he plays, and eventually will step in and say" **no more, that's enough for you Liam"** so they won't find themselves liable for not providing a duty of care.

Seems that we are both cynical.

Only yesterday I was thinking the same thing and even contemplating that he may have played his final game already.
