Blore is a edge backrower, not a middle forward...

Future is on the right edge.

Will they be looking to extend his contract beyond next year?

He has only just arrived at the club and recently recovered from a serious knee injury so there is no talk at this point. That will probably change quickly and would likely happen at seasons end.

Seen a few people on here mention Blore at lock which would be a terrible outcome. His best asset is his line running/hitting holes between the opposition halfback and second rower. He isn't a ball player or hit-up machine. Playing him at lock would take away his biggest asset and be a total waste.

They've identified him as the future right edge back rower, which is part of the reason Luciano moved to the left (that and his defense with his brother).

Big things to come from Blore.

Wow - I was thinking that big hits are his best asset! But if that's the case, I can't wait to see him running lines on the edge.

Tigers forwards running metres
Aloiai 149
Packer 75
Leilua 80
Eisenhuth 116
Mcintyre 22
Clark 76
Blore 46
Total 564

Eels forwards running metres
RCG 236
Paulo 213
Lane 132
Nuikore 110
Matterson 10
Brown 120
Utoikamanu 42
Takarangi 14
Total 877

We could use some strike power in the backs but our forwards were not as good as theirs tonight

Edit: added Nuikore's metres

Parra had an extra 12 sets of 6. It adds up. Our pack is shaping very nicely for next season. Very good times ahead I reckon.

My team for next year would be
1. Doeuihi
2. Nofoaluma
3. Leilua
4. Momirovski
5. Talau
6. Reynolds
7. Marshall/Brooks
8. Aloiai
9. Grant/ Lidde
10. Packer
11. Garner
12. Leilua
13. Twal
14. Mikaele
15. Blore
16. Musgrove
17. Utoikamanu

Will be interesting I give Jennings another 10 weeks to be shore

More interestingly, who are the 6 that would make way

MCK
Walters
Packer
Clarke
McIntyre
Blore

A couple of concussions, a couple of plodders, a suspension and a beast the coach might want to put back into cotton wool.

The forward pack is taking shape and very deep.
Props: Aloai, Mikalele, Stefano, Packer, Musgrove
Locks: Twal, Blore, Eiso, Mcintyre
Backrow: Luciano, Garner, MCK

We need to sign a couple of edge forwards with Lawrence, McQueen being moved on as we have a serious drop off and lack of depth there. I think Blore is mobile enough to play wide.

Tigers need to offload Reynolds, Mbye next year. Packer at this level is fine no point subsidising a release if he plays like this. Clarke is solid defensively but we have too many props and he’s the weakest.

More I watch Douehi his ball playing is way better than I suspected but his lack of speed is a liability at fullback. I think he’s destined for the 6 jersey if and when Benji retires. I think it’s this year.

If we can attract a quality fullback with speed, winger that’s explosive we will challenge. Talau has left centre written all over him.

Agree with everything you've said.

I'm hoping Brad Abbey might be the fullback you're looking for. Has size and pace, just needs some luck with injuries.

Agree, BJ and Talau should be our centres with Lucy and Blore as our backrowers and Twal at 13.

Exciting times ahead

My ideal pack would be

2020
Aloiai
Grant
Packer
Blore
Leilua
Twal

Mikaele
Garner
Musgrove
Eisenhuth

2021
Aloiai
Grant/Liddle/Simpkin
Packer
Blore
Leilua
Twal

Mikaele
Garner
Musgrove
Utoikamanu

2021 looking good for forwards .Would like to see Lelua and Douhie as centres,Mbye on bench can cover backline injuries,We need another good half and a fullback, maybe Nuffa given a try?he has the agression and speed ,., If Talau is moved to centre i would play Douhie at 5/8 - he has good hands,

Stefano better have more than I saw tonight otherwise hell be wearing number 21 a lot.
No more pillows.

NB, I haven't watched him play before and understand he might be a gun.

Looks like a plodder to me

Fitter faster stronger under a Madge pre-season..

Almost too many props....almost

Wasn't it Warren Ryan that said in props, you need 2 on the field, 2 on the bench and 2 suspended?

Hahah yes I think so.

The game has well passed what Warren Ryan had to say.

Not applicable to Rugba League.

He doesn't have to put them all in and so therefore all those 6 don't necessarily lose their spot.

MCK will be out for sure.

Unless someone out of the ordinary is signed as a goalkicker there has to be a spot found for Momo.

Momo and Joey in the centres.

Talau and Nofo on the wing.

Ad at FB.

Mbye running the witches hats but unfortunately probably at 14.

We cannot afford to have Mbye kicking next year under any circumstances.

Momo’s goalkicking stats are hardly impressive.

2019 combined CC/NRL was 68%. We need a new kicker period

Parra run on side was basically at full strength. Might have been different had we been at full strength?

My post was in response to the people calling for 1-7 to be replaced. The backs were not the main cause for the loss.
