Have had a look at what is available for 2022 in terms of off contract NRL talent. Not much would be putting is nicely.

Edrick Lee, Marion Seve, Sia Soliola for cheapish coin wouldn't be bad signings given there isn't much going around for next year.

Looking ahead there are a bunch of players I have picked out, some of which we should look to sign for 2023 onwards who would be available:

Backs: Herbie Farnworth, Hamiso Tabui-Fidow
Forwards: Ryan James, Raymond Faitala-Mariner, Braden Hamlin-Uele, Isaiah Papali'i, Briton Nikora/Marata Niukora, Angus Crighton

Sia Soliaola?
No chance.

He'd have one foot in retirement right now.

I think whoever we sign will be through manoeuvring players who are already contracted. I think the only off contract player that is a chance to come here is Woods. And I think that would be for good PR, nothing more. A feel good story of bringing a favourite son back home, after the inevitable massacre that is about to take place where several people potentially will lose jobs.

Early release players such as Lomax, Cotric, Tapine.

Try and bring back some former guys with hopes they're keen to be a part of our push to success.
Nathan Brown, Ray Stone, Papenhausen....

Ready made first graders - similar to players we missed this year. Hynes, Finucane, McInnes or Renno... but the next wave.

How would it be good PR if Woods returned? Most wouldn't want him back.

I agree, the club wouldn’t think of it like that though.

Really think we should pursue peachey. Experienced and good for the indigenous players. Also has a bit of X factor and can cover a bunch of positions. We could do a lot worse.

Lol, I could imagine that buffoon meandering back through the doors of Concord asking “Err.. what did I miss?”

Isn't there a thread for this already?
