Gallant injury

I think we really should beat the sharks regardless of who plays fullback, so i'd really like to see how Lawrence goes there as he could well turn out to be great there as Hayne has done for the Eels…

Would just love to see that experiment anyhow... we could always reshuffle mid-match if its not working as we had to against the roosters...

good point. only qualm i have is that i dont think we had much potency in the centres without lawrence there. still, ryan scored 2 and tnt shouldve had 2 as well, so lets just throw the cut outs to them! … from ellis, not marshall though...

King Sirro…do you ever watch Balmain Ryde play mate?

You honestly want Josh Lewis in our NRL side? He's several paces too slow to play NRL...and he can't tackle.

People need to watch that side play before they make comments...

What is the possibility of John Morris playing Fullback?

If he has had no experience then it would not make sense but he is a good Utility player and can play 1/2 back, 5/8, Wing, Hooker so why not Full-Back?

No No NO…

Don't even go there, Johnny is a great defender and impact player... but his not the attacking playing type for the 1 jersey role.

God no! Far too slow and untested under the high ball and grubber kick.

Lawrence or Hanbury should get the gig if Sheens is serious about keping Moltzen in the halves.

Terrible news if Gallants facebook is true :frowning: It matches his face when he was on the sidelines though. He looked very upset.
Whilst I would love to see Lui come in at 5/8 this is not the right time for it to happen. Collis will have to stay at centre and pick his game up defensively. He's probably better in attack than Ayshford atm because Ayshford needs to learn when to pass the ball but Ayshford's defence is far better.
Lawrence at 1 could be anything but the most important thing will be how well he positions himself defensively against kicks. esp. attacking kicks. That was Gallants huge strength & we will miss that.

- Spot on regarding Lui… wrong time of the year...

- However i think the link game between Lawrence and TNT is crucial to the tigers putting on points... we struggles against the Roosters to score (we were unlucky on 3 instances i know...) but with 60% possession... should have turned on more points i thought. I'd be playing Collis at fullback and tell him to start tackling lower as he i shrugged off too easy (I remember him being a pretty effective tackler, but it seems a distant memory...

- **Regarding Ayshford I think it's obvious the players do not have faith in giving Ryan the ball...** Ayshford isn't the only bloke guilty of holding onto it instead of passing to Ryan... Marshall does the same thing a lot of the time. (I'm not having a dig at his game either this week... he played well and for the first time this year I'm VERY happy to see him playing next week.)

I think that's a stretch maybe taking the Beau Ryan stinks a tad far ….It is a dig at his game in general.....Ryan has grown on me what can I say...

Hell even Morris passed him the ball....

We need a fullback solution that can carry us into the finals and give it a shake up.

Therefore, Lawrence at fullback would be the best option.

Pros:

Runs great lines
Good defender
Fast!!
Great support player
Good in broken field

Cons:

Ahhh…can't think of any!

Add more as you see fit.

Cons:

Missing a solid centre defender, and great attacker.

im still in favour of hanbury, just cause its the sharks and see how he goes.. if it fails either switch around mid game, or wait till eels games and put lawrence their.

I'm not a big fan of weakening a few positions just to improve another so I'd just slot Hanbury in.

As for Gallant, poor guy! 😢

I'm really sorry to hear that, Shannon was in top form.

Sheens is way to smart to play Lawrence in the 1 position, it will not happen.

Hanbury will be named, you can bet your life on it.

I hope you're right brother, i hope you're right

Broken fibula I heard on Fox ….5 weeks...yet to be confirmed from the club....It stinks....As for what happened after watching the replay again ...don't know .....one minute he was on the field next minute off....

Anyone see what happened?

I'm sooooo disappointed for him , he was finding his feet umm anyway if we make the 2nd week of the finals he will be back Right on time!!

Soliola landed on his leg pushing it back as he was going to ground.

The problem with moving Lawrence to FB is he has been our best defenders in the backs.

It is no coincidence that Easts suddenly found a few tries out wide against us.
