Wests Tigers forward Keith Galloway has been charged by the Match Review Committee from Friday night's win over the Melbourne Storm at Leichhardt Oval.

Galloway has been charged with a Grade 1 Contrary Conduct with a Match Official offence following an altercation with referee Chris Sutton in the 22nd minute of play.

He will be free to play against the Raiders this week regardless of an early guilty plea.

This week's opponents, Canberra, will be without winger Edrick Lee after he was charged with a Grade 2 Tripping offence, but will have five-eighth Blake Austin after the playmaker was only given a Grade 1 Dangerous Throw — meaning he will be free to play with an early plea.

Wests Tigers NYC Holden Cup forward Matthew Lodge was also not charged after being placed on report in Friday night's win over the Storm and is free to play this week.

Austin free to play with early plea...Lee to miss a week with early plea...
 
Lee being out is actually not bad for us. He's not the best player but he would encourage them to kick to him. Their other outside backs aren't really bomb specialists.
 
We were defending our 20 at the time if memory serves

Saw it at the time but thought nothing more of it

He seemed to be tapping him on the back as Sutton was in his way

Now that is good for us. He poleaxed Brooks at Leichhardt and has been one of the Raiders best this year.

And I am sure Brooks remembers, he will feel better not having to look out for Sia.

I wonder why there isn't significantly more media coverage of him playing on with the same injury as Burgess last year

Exactly, cause his a nobody in there eyes and it wouldn't sell newspapers.
