Galloway needs to be moved along

The reason the loss of Galloway is felt and noticed so much is because of how much he means to our forward pack. He is a leader, has impact and I guarantee when the boys look around the sheds before they walk out on to the field and see Galloways face they all feel that little more confident as a team. He misses just as many games as your average prop but as stated we feel the impact so much more.

Gun–--I go out to the games with the same group of guys most week and this topic has been coming up for years and Iam with you although I do confess Big Keff has improved out of sight in recent years, but its not much good if he is in the rehab group for most of the year.

The Storm build a team around their spine, upfront the have hard durable journey men who know their trade.Than they add some athletes in the mix and Bellamy does the rest. Its a very smart way to go

All players get injuries, but poor Keff gets more than his fair share. As for being on to much coin,I think you would battle to get to many front rowers for under 250g

Keith at half a season is worth as much to us as any player. He is hugely important. Just wish he was more durable. He is a very good prop. One of the best in the biz.

Think I have to agree I wouldn't get rid of big Keith so to speak but I'd look for other options when his contract is due,Woods should be our number one prop and we should get a couple of other decent ones to compliment him.
Think the problem with Keith is the isn't the quickest and ambles into the line if he wasn't a cult figure I doubt many of you would be up in arms at the suggestion.
His ball security isn't world class either he doesn't have a potent offload so I wouldn't put him in the premier prop class like a Tamou tolman kasiano ect

1- How did you pyut Tolman in the same class as Tamou - He is a workhorse but doesen't have much in his game and will prob be let go by the dogs this year you would think given they have Kasiano, Graham, Klemmer and Taupau.

2\. Keith is a high quality prop forward and while he has missed a few games he averages around 18 a year over the last 5 years which is fairly standard for a prop

3\. We have no experienced props and people are syaing we should let go of the one we have - It might happen because he is off contracts but I doubt it and id say now robbie is signed on the Galloway is the focus

so what is the average games played for props in a year?
big red is around 17-18 a year.
and doesn't get to beef up the numbers with finals appearances.

we are short on props and now we want to get rid of one.
good luck filling the void.

Would love to hear user: BenjiMagic's thoughts on this.

Galloway is at times inconsistent but I'd put him in the top 10 props in the game.
As mentioned, also agree that his best is yet to come.
He's only, what … 27 ?

For the coin he is on he isn't worth it, props are a dime a dozen there is nothing that makes KG a standout that warrants his pay packet. We could buy 2 props of equivelant skills for what he does

Please name two props who combined, would constitute Galloway's salary then.

Gee you are really funny…

We are short on props and someone wants to get rid of our most experienced and senior prop. He has been injured at times but when fit is very much a very valuable player.

Top 10?? Really

Bromwich
Graham
Burgess
Tamou
Scott
Merrin
Woods
Tolman
Grant
Mannah
Hargreaves
King

That's 12 off the top of my head without giving much thought to it who are better then Galloway. Wonder how many of them are 300k a year players

I've never been a Galloway fan, believe he is way over rated but his constant run of injuries is enough for me, he's over paid and doesn't get the results on the field… Time to say bye bye to big keify

One of our better defenders. Moving into the Skando-like status so he should not be going anywhere.

I think you can add Sam Mckendry to that list.He is by far the most underrated prop going around at the moment and at 23 is just now coming into his best years as a prop.
