Galloway

Galloway out…...boo......

Gower, Schirnack snr, Cayless or Moors....Ummm...Schirnack..

This might just be the pressure that Cayless needs to be placed under to fire up.
Give him the chance.

cayless only went ok for wests last sunday..

not the point, sheens will go with experience cayless will most likely play ahead of moors or shirnack especially since he got some game time in his legs last week while moors shadowed

but cayless was dropped / and still only went ok last sunday..

he was dropped to get game time and obviously was gonna most likely play state cup again but injuries have struck and an experienced player like cayless will jump the que in situations like this

And it's more beneficial taking experience on a difficult road trip than exposing a freshie in a tough game for both their confidence and fitness.

Cayless gets his chance to impress I think.

I have doubts over why we signed this guy long term. Good player, but would have to be the softest bloke in our side.

:unamused:

Our best forward and didn't he play almost half a season with a broken foot?

after watching the wests v wenty game i think cayless is too slow for nrl - he took the ball up regularly but never hit the line with any power or pace and was easily contained - having said that i would think sheens will play him from the bench and push payten in to front row and fulton in to starting side

Would be good to see Shirnack but I think Cayless will be given the nod. If we hadnt signed Lote, Cayless was going to be our number 1 signing in the off season. He should go straight in and hopefully have a big one.

If our coach was a detached, objective observer picking teams on form & recent performance,Fifita wld get the run on gig for sure.
Cayless to start

Must say,Cayless has been a big dissapointment so far.
Thank goodness Bryce is having his best year so far and the return of Fulton plusTiquiri and Flanagan have been great buys.Fultons ball play and support play reminds me of Ray Brown. He is absorbing all the punishment early and then running amok in th s/h.

Silly comment IMHO. This is football not tea parties. Players get injured. A player going a season without missing a game is a rarity in the modern game. When KG is the starting prop for Australia I might unearth this post.

I'll save the comment as well. Galloway is awesome, if fit should be in both Aus and NSW sides. He is one of our most important players. But the fact is he is a very injury prone player, and I don't mean bad luck Marshall sorta injuries. Tissue damage here, broken thumb there and god knows how many other niggling injuries he always seems to have.

Questioning why we signed him is exagerating slightly, but you have to admit, you can't build stability when your number one prop seems to be missing every 3rd game.

When I say soft, I don't mean Willie Mason mentally soft, I mean he's soft in regard to getting injured very easily. He always seems to have some niggling injury.
