Gameplan to beat the Broncos

I wonder what game plan Sheens will bring to this game?
I hope he persists with kicking early in the tackle count and chasing hard then line speed and aggressive relentless defence.
Our kicking game and defence will win us this game but it comes down to attitude in D and persistence and patience in attack, the points will come if we can turn them around constantly and apply pressure with our D. We will win this at the back end. I'm sure the Broncos would love to turn this game into an arm wrestle. I hope Benji can remain composed, because i think he is vital to our success this week.
I'm putting my faith in Mr Sheens this week to get this team up and sticking to his plan.

For some reason i'm beginning to feel rather confident this week, what's wrong with me?

i'm feeling confident as well tiger. a few key forwards back and heigno playing plus aggresive defence against a young broncos side ( hodges, lockyer excluded ) and pressure on the young broncos might see them under perform

Sheens has muffed the game plan a couple of times this year. Boring, stodgy stuff against the Dogs in round one and again last week against the Titans. Against the Gold Coast he wanted us to shut the game down, kick early and bore them out of it when one more try would have put them away. Let's hope he's learnt and we will play like the Tigers we know and love

We will have to out defend them be patient and have great ball control . I think we need to attack them up the centre drag em in and go wide Still think attacking Hodges will create chances especially with one on ones and without Gillett they lack speed and mobility in the forwards

on the previous forum fainty would always post his game plan. :master:
where are you
seriously though they still have strong attack and defence in Sam thaiday, Ben Hannatt and Hodges out wide.
get up and in there face, no room to move at all for Lockyer. 😛ray:

As stated in post above need to be patient, no passes which end up in row 5.
communicate clearly, back each other up and defend like there is no tommorrow..

I dont know why but Benji kept kicking on tackles 3 and 4 continuously. Was that the game plan or did Benji feel like he had better chance of finding space on those tackles than on tackle 5?

Wahtever it was it didn't work. I'm thinking the pre game talk went something like this:
"Defend in close around the ruck - leave the edges free. If you have to tackle, just shirt grab. In attack, no-one take control, just do your own thing. Oh! and Benji, tone it down this week". :blah :rant :crazy

I sure it was our gameplan and imo it's what i thought Sheens would try and do, imo it was working well and we were going punch for punch with the Broncos early until we failed to get a kick away on back to back sets, then we just crumbled and were quite a shamble really.

Well showing up and playing like team would of been a start . Then actually showing a heart beat in the first half probably would also of helped . Why does it seem to take a blast from Sheens to get this team playing well in second half of some games ??
