hey guys, dont no if this rumor is true or not,but sharkies are gunning hard for manlys steve mattai
who is still under cotract for next season and are going to let nat gardner go! also titians are going to announce the signing of robert lui for next season for three years this week! do any of you guys no of any of this rumors????? think gardner could be a good pick up!! does go hard and isnt scared to jump for the ball!!!!

I like Gardner.He runs hard has scored some brilliant length of the field tries.I have heard the Robert Lui rumour from plenty of tigers fans here on the Goldie.I hope it isn't true as I'm not a fan of miller yet.Seems stupid to get rid of moltz who is a good hb and lui an up an comer and better than moltz.Other than miller what other options do we have?

Is it really known Sheens feels that way? From my understanding its not the size of the fullback that he pinpoints, more the fact he hunts for a ball playing fullback. Remember Wests Tigers best ever fullback who was brought to the club by Sheens??? Brett Hodgson was smaller than anyone. Id say Gardners size wont be a factor, maybe the the fact he isnt a ball player will be. William Zillman is a former 5/8 i believe and he's more likely the type Sheens would want.

Gardner would be the final peice of our puzzle and would surely make us one of the best attacking teams of all time, don't believe it is any chance of happening though. In regards to Lui signing with the Titans I really hope this is not the case, I think that if we persevere with him he will become a great player.

Utai was only ever going to be a single season signing….Sheen took him as there were few options on the market given Tuiaki had retired....despite his bullocking runs Utai probs wont be around Tiger town next year!...unless he plays for peanuts....something Gardner wont do!

This is truly an idiotic post hahaha :laughing: , he was a Wests Tigers player for many years under years under Sheens inlcuding winning the premiership with the most points from an NRL player that season and you believe the reason he was 'cut' was due to his lack of size? :crazy
